Complement your flat-panel TV with this slender centre speaker

Build a complete on-wall speaker system for your flat-panel TV using the slim Mythos Seven as the centre channel. It uses many of the same technologies found in Definitive's Mythos floor-standing speakers to provide a wide soundstage with pinpoint imaging, crystal-clear dialogueue, and superb realism. And at just over 4" deep, this centre channel speaker is made to be wall-mounted below today's slim TVs.

High-tech drivers for exceptionally detailed sound

At the centre of the cabinet are two 3-1/2" midrange drivers surrounding a 1" dome tweeter. The pure aluminum dome tweeter produces extended highs that reveal nuance and shimmer without a trace of edginess. Flanking the midranges are two 3-1/2" bass radiators, which give the Mythos Seven better bass performance than you might expect from such a slim speaker. Die-cast aluminum baskets, a resonance-free PolyStone baffle, and proprietary damping technologies built into the cabinet ensure clean sound.

Gorgeous aircraft-grade aluminum cabinet

The enclosure is made of black hand-polished aluminum for a sleek look that'll go well with most modern décors. The Mythos Seven comes with a wall-mounting bracket that will adapt to most swing out, arm-style TV wall mounts, so the speaker moves along with your TV when you reposition it. And a rubber-tipped adjustable foot on the bottom of the cabinet allows you to aim the speaker upwards towards your listening position when placed on a low shelf.

Building a system

Team up the Mythos Seven with two Mythos Five floor-standing speakers or two Mythos Six on-wall speakers for the left and right channels, and the Mythos Gems as surround speakers. Add Definitive's SuperCube II, SuperCube III, or ProSub 800 subwoofers for hard-hitting bass.
