Cable is the right length, but doesn't work to well. Cable didn't connect well with factory antenna cable, really had to mess around to get it to fit. There is a lot of static on regular stations and lose stations that I used to get for miles and miles.

The end that attaches to the OEM antenna wire doesn't fit very tight. I am not confident it will stay put but it is working fine so far. Wish I would have wrapped it in electrical tape when I had the stereo out.

Adapter came included when I bought a JVC CD receiver (works very well by the way) - installing on a 2010 Chevy Colorado. After installation, I noticed that the radio reception was about 1/2 the strength/distance as my factory config. AM was terrible. I sent an email first to Crutchfield support but they referred me to calling tech support. Took me a while to call but I did and they answered immediately and gave a few things to try. I suspected that it was the antenna adapter all along and it was; it just didn't have a very good connection with the truck's antenna cable. I happened to have another antenna adapter at home from other car stereo installs and that took care of the problem. So just be forewarned and make sure that the antenna adapter has a good and completely inserted connection with the vehicle's antenna cable.
