After the success i had with the dash kit for my Hyundai Elantra through Crutchfield, my sister in-law wanted to see if we could have similar success with her car. After ordering and installing it, I feel that's a resounding "YES" we bought her a head unit for her birthday separately from Crutchfield, but even at the price we got this and the wiring harness for, I still feel it was a bargain. (best buy can't compete!) We had the choice of using the stereo bezel or the mount that came with it, and we wound up going with the mount. it just looked more pro!

Installed in 01 Cavalier. The top of this kit is a little tight to the receiver, any smaller and my faceplate would not have fit. It worked perfectly for me but I suppose others may have a different experience.

It worked OK. I had to bend the tabs to get it to hold the receiver snugly. It is of a real flimsy build as well, I was hoping for something more stout. I did like the fact that it came with a spacer for between the dash and the receiver kit. This made it so I could install a longer receiver into the smaller space of the dash in a 2002 Cavalier. Cruthfield said the receiver probably would not fit, but with the receiver kit and the spacer provided I had no problems.

Works perfect in my 2001 Pontiac Sunfire GT. Fits my head unit nice and makes the install look very nice. Very seamless fit behind my trim.

Add about 1/2" or so between head unit and adapter. you will be set. Adapter allows head unit to sag.
