This is a very nice little sub for its size and its price. Sounds great in a smaller car (KIA Forte Koup) without taking up all your trunk space.

It is exactly what it says it is....which is a compact 10" subwoofer. I have it installed in a tahoe and placement is important for it to sound good. I have fosgate prime series speakers in the doors hooked up to a kenwood 252 deck which pushes 22 watts rms to my door speakers. This subwoofer compliments them very well. It is not going to rattle your neighbors windows, but will sound very well inside of the vehicle.

First off - if you are planning to use the high level inputs, beware, there are many complaints from users about them. My experience was with factory unit, which includes a factory amp. Not sure if the amps output was too much or too little, but the Basslink would cut out frequently when I had it wired that way. I used the subwoofer speaker leads straight as inputs. When I switched to a LOC, everything is fine.
As for the sound, it sounds nice. It hits pretty hard for what it is. Don't expect to notify the hood you are approaching. I didn't get it for that, so that's fine. I turn the bass boost off, and keep the crossover as high as possible, trying to get it to provide a little more woofer than subwoofer sound, but this thing is not feeling it. It gets sloppy unless you get the crossover down a bit lower (2/3?) . When it tune it for reggae or hip hop (crossover low, boost up) it sounds much better. It sounds like that's what it was designed for, definitely sounds better than with rock or metal. But it seems tuned too low for a 10", as it leaves some notes off basslines that wander a little too high. (even with the crossover turned all the way up)
The remote - I find myself constantly changing it, glad its there. One gripe - I wish that some company would make a remote like this one, but with an on off switch for the amp. That way you could skip the remote wire or LOCs with remote triggers.
