Honestly desired POLK brand but could not find a fit w/o customizing. Perfect drop ins for my 03 Eclipse and great sound. The cherry on top is a 3 year warranty. So how can you see anything wrong with that? They'll stand behind they're product. Any other? Only a year baby and then good luck, you're on your own.

I had to replace the two front speakers in a 2002 Camaro 35th LE. Both went out at the same time, leading to crummy rattley bass notes! I pulled the old speakers to find that separate amplifiers drive the woofer and tweeter in the original coaxial speaker. After a lot of research and chasing, I chose the Infinity Kappa 652.9i, based on the recommendation of the helpful Crutchfield advisors. They were a lot less expensive than the OEM from Chevrolet, and now that they are installed, they sound better! The 652.9i is a coaxial design with a crossover. I wanted a stock look, so I was able to cut off the crossover and reconnect the factory plugs to the wires from the woofer and tweeter, being careful to keep the polarity correct. Not a trivial installation, but a good looking job, and a great sound. Angling the tweeters helps get the treble to the front seat ears much better than the factory models.

Man, these speakers sound great. I have 2 of these up front with 2 Rockford Fosgate P1694 6x9s in the back, all powered by a Pioneer GM-6400F 4-channel amp, and my car is booming. Only problem I have now is my sub being drowned out by the other speakers!

Was looking for a good factory replacement speaker for my 2009 Forester. Mid bass, sensitivity and great sound was top priority. Overall bass response is impressive enough for me to do without a subwoofer taking up my cargo area space. However, if trying to drive these things without an amp and skimping out on a little Dynamat, you'll probably be disappointed and won't get the most out of them. My only real complaint is trying to find a place for the attached crossover. You better remove your door panel before purchasing these and do some investigating first. Other than that, these things rock!

I bought a pair of these to replace my original Infinty stock system in my vehicle, as soon as i powered them up the difference was remarkable. I now am in the proccess of ordering a second pair for the rear. Highly recommend these to anyone thats looking for quality within a reasonable budget. Thanks to Crutchfield advisors Jenny and Chad for the great recommendation!
