I have this amp powering 2 jl w6 12's in an 06 acura tl. all interiors are jl on a jl amp but the stock nav is still in and this amp is just ridiculous. i had to have this amp turned down twice, keep in mind i have over 1600 watts running the interior. definitly worht the money but you will need a cap, at least 5 fared.

I am pushing 2 12" dual 4ohm woofers running at 4 ohm's with my JL Audio 1000/1 in a Bass Box in a 2002 Grand AM.The bass is so deep and hard-hitting,i cracked my spoiler in two places!!!

This amplifier is one of the best amps sold today... The raw power that this thing produces is astounding, and it has many settings which can shape bass better than just about any amplifer made. Besides being a JL Audio quality product, one reason this amp is under rated and in a high-class category is that it will maintain over 1000 watts RMS of clean output with any normal voltage & also into 1.5 - 4 ohm impedances. I have this amp driving the CS312RG-w1v2 JL Audio enclosure (three 8 ohm 12" w1v2 subs wired together in a sealed box at 2.7 ohms)...This impedance makes for a higher amplifier damping factor than a 1 or 2 ohm load. I have the amp's gain at the halfway mark and on certain songs I can barely stand to sit in my Explorer- i mean it HOUNDS ! Buy the bass boost knob for it- you'll see why this amp is definitely one to buy... When you merely remove this thing from its box & plastic and feel its weight you'll be proud of your purchase. It's simply JL Audio quality at its finest.

I got this amp and never looked back. It has so much power. I have it on a JL 10inch 3v3. the lights do dim but that is because there is so much power. the only thing was that it requires so much power that I had to get a more powerful alternator because it fried the old one. after that it is the best amp i have ever had and i have gone througt a lot of them. i also have the black one and it looks crazy.

I have this on two alpine type r 12"s. and wow i never heard lows like this. i have a 5 frad cap. and it still dims my lights. this thing is really leanient with the power it needs to produce 1000 watts. my lights go crazy but the music keeps playing clean and loud. planning on putting an extra battery in soon, that should stop my lights from strobing like the cash cab.
!!!no regrets!!! this things worth the money. 1000watts of clean power!!!!!!
