Kenwood has teamed up with Parrot, a leader in Bluetooth technology, to bring you hands-free calling in the DNX6160. Incoming calls automatically mute your music and caller ID info shows up on the screen. You'll answer with just a tap of the finger, talking through the included visor-mount microphone and listening over the car's speakers, all while keeping your eyes on the road and both hands on the wheel.

Great-sounding music

The powerful internal amplifier puts some muscle behind your music, while Kenwood's 24-bit digital-to-analog converter sends a crisp, clear audio signal to your speakers. And you can fine-tune your sound using the 3-band EQ and its six preset tone settings.

Load your MP3, WMA, and AAC files on a CD or DVD, and you'll have a nearly endless supply of fresh driving music. A handy USB slot lets you hook up a thumb drive or a USB-equipped MP3 player. If you add an optional cable, you can connect your iPod® or iPhone® and control it right on the touchscreen.

System building and expansion

You can augment your entertainment options by adding a satellite radio tuner to enjoy a wide variety of entertainment, sports, news, and commercial-free music. Kenwood's optional HD Radio™ tuner brings you enhanced digital sound quality and additional programming choices from the growing list of participating AM and FM stations.

You can add a full complement of amps and subs to the receiver by plugging in to the three sets of preamp outputs. The dedicated subwoofer output features a low-pass crossover and a level control for your subwoofer system.

Want to keep your car's steering wheel audio controls?
In most vehicles, you can use this adapter to connect your vehicle's steering wheel controls to this Kenwood stereo. Connect a few wires, then program the adapter for your particular car and the Kenwood, and you'll retain the convenience of your steering wheel controls.
