I bought 2 of these amps. Awesome power. Only thing. I read it is suppose to have 2 fans. And on both of mine and a friends they do not have 2 fans. It is only 1 fan. But, they are in my 03 focus trunk and never over heater. Great power and reliable. Daily user. recommend this amp to everyone.

I got this amp with 2 12" kenwood subs, so far the amp is great and I love it, I used this setup to replace an old MTX sub/amp kit that I have and I am glad I finally increased the power. I haven't had any problems with the amp or subs yet and I don't anticipate that I would either. I think some people that have problems with the setup might not have it setup correctly or most likely need a capacitor that can supply those deep base notes because it works great for me.
Like I said the only thing I was disappointed with they kenwood needs/should change is to make the power/ground terminals much bigger, and maybe even redesign them like some of the other high output amps I have so that they can fit 4 gauge wire much easier.. I had to trim the wire down quite a bit and even then it was hard to get in, I will be looking to get a longer gold plated screw to fix it if I can find one.

Amp was great, paired it with two kenwood subs and sounds great, being the first time installing subs, it took time to tune in, but once tuned they were flawless.

This amplifier is so flawed. After checking with multiple installers apparently kenwood amps are notorious for cutting out problems. I personally like to play my subs loud and this amp cant handle any deep or powerful notes. i had it wired to two 12 inch kenwoods wired to 2 ohms and it would fade out whenever a deep or powerful note would hit. It got terribly annoying and i upgraded to the kicker 11zx750.1 and i couldnt be happier. Running at 930 rms (30 rms more then the kenwood claims at 2 ohms) i am getting so much more power. I got enough more that I blew one of my subs with everything turned well below half power. I could max out my kac9105d and it would play nowhere near as loud and cut out. Go kicker, forget kenwood

running this amp for the last few weeks now... provides more than enough power to 2 twelve inch subs. At first i was surprised because this amp is so light i thought it was a cheap pile... but it delivers powers and its lightweight , which means it will cool faster. Overall Kenwood is great choice again.
