Yes, this product DOES fit third-gen Camaros, unlike the similar Pioneer product. These speakers are priced a little on the high side for what they are.I replaced the stock front speakers with these and I am satisified.I didn't know "dinky little front speakers" were supposed to sound this good.I'm running a Sony head unit with no amps or subs and I'm satisified with the sound quality.

I picked up these speakers to use in place of the factory 4x6's in my cadillac brougham. they are pretty good, but I have heard far better 4x6's (polk db series- which are phenomenal IMO, but no longer produced) the mids and highs come in great with the kenwoods, but the lows come in muddy and distorted. I ended up using these with a crossover which got rid of the issue with the bass. If you need a 4x6 to play the mids and highs, get these. if you want a 4x6 that gives good bass response, look for something else.

I just installed these in the rear pillars of a 1997 Ext. Cab Silverado and I have mixed opinions. Considering the difficulty of removing the panels (broke a ton of clips) it really wasn't worth the money to buy and install the speakers.
Do they sound better than stock? Probably but I really can't tell because most of my sound is coming from the new door speakers (it is even balanced front to rear). I did install the 600 hz bass blockers and this keeps all of the bass away from the speakers but I still get distortion running them at around 30 on my Sony CD player. That's ok considering I don't listen to my music at 30.
Overall, I give it a three b/c it might sound better and be a better fit for someone using them in a different spot.
One thing for sure is that I love Crutchfield. Great instructions and you can't beat the prices if you install it yourself!

Good mids and highs for a 4x6 speaker |

I am using these as my front speakers in my 1994 Chevy S10 Blazer; they are powered by a Sony CDX-F7005X headunit. When I tested these speakers they produced good mids and highs for speakers of this size, however my truck has its speaker openings in the top of the dash facing up at the windshield, so the sound bounces of it and doesn't sound exactly right. Also, don't expect to get any bass out of these speakers; they are too small for that. I have 150hz bass blockers on them so they don't burn up when I crank up the volume. But overall these speakers are very good, as long as you have another set of high powered speakers or a subwoofer to provide bass.
