Alright so i bought 2 of these subs since they seemed like a good price and could handle a decent amount of power well when i went to use them my amp died on me so i drove around with them in the box not playing for about a month, nothing wrong their then on a cold night a baseball went through my rear view window and a tiny piece of glass (maybe 2 square mm) put two 3" long cracks up the middle of one of the subs
seemed a little pitiful to me so i hooked the good one up free air to my 400 watt amp in my ford ranger just to see them move
i had the volume on about 12-35 and they were already X-maxing out (they only have 6mm anyway)
a little more disapointing so i decided to buy two 10" type E's and a kenwood amp (since mine died) and MAN DO THEY POUND!!!
you can hear me way before you see me
and since they are buy one get one free for $130 its even better
they dont handle as much power but this rating on the kenwooods is way off
DO NOT BUY IF LOOKING FOR CHEST POUNDING BASS
ONLY BUY IF LOOKING FOR A CHEAP QUALITY BUMPER (i would say they are equivalents of xplods)

I bought these subs back in july 08. I absloutely love them. They sound great. I put them in my chevy s10 xtreme and built a custom box. When turned up really loud, it doesnt sound as good as other ones I've had, but I still turn heads. I would recommened these to anyone looking for a sub with great sounds but doesnt really want to spend much money on it. Thanks crutchfield for the amazing buy!

I bought these subs off of crutchfield back in November and have been
beating these subs in a sealed box with a 300 kenwood amp. I enjoyed the
clean bass that i've recieved from them. I mostly play hip hop and that
gangsta ish so it was gonna be a little time before I got bass hungry.
Overall I would reccommend these to anyone looking for some clean knock
but not rattling your trunk for a low cost. They look great in my Honda for
my first system and sounded better then what i expected!

I installed a set of these speakers(4) and had no volume untill turned at least 3/4 of the way up. I was told I had a bad amplifier form your tech assistance at Crutchfield. I knew the amp was good because my test speaker worked just fine at the factory hook ups. I purchased a new set of speakers from the dealer and they worked just fine.

I'm using this sub in a sealed box and an mtx 600 watt amp. I'm running 2 ohms on this sub. I drive an 01 silverado ext. cab. I don't have a lot of experience with nice subs but listen to some cheap subs in small boxes and you will know what terrible bass is. My box has .92 sq ft of breathing room. The sub hits very nice with a nice wide range. I'm not into competition sound, I just like it loud. I'm somewhat of an audiophile so I like clarity more than anything. I really like this sub and would not hesitate buying it again. Oh yeah, I've owned this sub for one week
