Caution these subs are very thirsty for power so don't go cheap on your amp. I have these in my 2006 F-350 behind the rear seat in a sealed box, hooked up to a Kenwood KAC-9104D amp. And I will say that they are the cleanest hardest hitting subs I have ever owned. I was nervous at first because they were so shallow that they wouldn't be able to hit hard; boy was I wrong! I have my amp turned almost all the way up and there is not one bit of distortion just hard hitting bass. Another warning if you are using test tones to adjust your gains and crossover remember to wear ear protection they can handle the tones your ears cannot. Reviews are what helped me choose these over any other sub, that is why I am taking the time to put my own review to help others make educated choices. I listen to rock mostly but they do just fine with deep bass from R&B/Rap. What you will end up doing is upgrading all of the other speakers and amps in your car to match the volume of these subs.

I have had two of these subs (07CVT104 = '4-ohm model') for just shy of a year now which are installed in my 2008 extended cab Silverado. They are powered by a Kenwood KAC-X1R which is suppling them with a healthy dose of 600W RMS per sub, 150% their rated value! The box I have fits under the back seat and thus being sealed plus having the advantage of down firing (aka, "loading wall via the floor") I can over drive the heck out of 'em! This combo is perfect for rock, metal, anything with a good solid tight kick. Even rap sounds great, minus the sound of sheet metal vibrating off your vehicle. So far, I have been the envy of all that hear this setup to which I get the question asked, "How do you get such a tight smooth crisp sound with out all the rattling like other systems?" My answer, "When you have a quality sub, quality amp, well built box, and most important; you know how to dial an amp in, this is the result. BUY THESE SUBS!!! You will not be disappointed!

I bought 2 10"s for my 08 F150 KR, built my own box and they bang!! I was skeptical at first because I was not sure if they were going to work in such a shallow place but Kicker amazed me yet again. Even though I kept my stock head unit, it still picked up the subs pretty good. Kicker is a reliable product!

Man, this sub really hits. I was worried at first, because it was a 10. But when I got it and hooked it up to a kicker amp it blew me away. I put it under the seats of my F-150 supercab in a box. I wasn't disapointed at all. If your lookin for something to rattle your mirrors this is it.

WOW. Kicker is the right name for this sub. I needed to replace my factory sub on my Acura MDX. Crutchfield's sales were a huge help and suggested this one. I am not an audio techie. I just like a great sound and this sub delivers in a big way!!!!
