Small system, big sound |

This mini system is a giant in sound. Over the years I have had three mini systems before this one (Panasonic and Sony) and none of them beat the Onkyo mini system in sound quality. It sounds as good as my Bose ipod system but with more power. Defitively, a great buy.

this little system is awesome , sounds better than it's price . Bass is good. High end is a little bright, but let's face it, it's not a high end system,but miles better than Bose Soundwave

I purchased this system for the bedroom. I didn't want the clutter of extra
cables to play an iPod and I wanted a descent sounding system to replace
another radio. I am very picky about my audio purchases, I won't go into the
lenghts I have gone to find particular speakers or components at times. The
point is I have a good ear for sound. While this system does not sound like a
multi-thousand dollar collection of electronics it sounds great for a shelf
system. I have never owned Onkyo before but this product has opened my
eyes to them. The speakers provide a descent rich sound, fairly crisp highs
and descent base for the size of the speakers. You are buying the amp for this
price so in my opinion the speakers are just a freeby that can be replaced if
necessary. The whole package (including speakers) fits the need I had; I
highly recommend this
system for anyone looking for a compact shelf system.

Very good item. Works great in the garage with the ipod. Volume works well in
the outside environment because the neighbors wouldn't appreciate anything
louder.
