My experience is as electrical engineer and Guitar Shop owner. I've installed a couple of these units in different applications and find: 1] It Has enough power for [4] factory speakers 2] It's quite easy to dial in, even without referencing the manual [Can't say that about most systems these days] 3] MP3 connectivity is good through the 1/8 jack AUX on the front panel 4] It has a warmer sound than most, indicating that at this price point the audio design was to lend itself to factory upgrading. 4a] It's preset EQ curves are multi and enough to satisfy most folks without tweeking. BUT should you have to tweek you'll find that relatively easy to do as well. 5] It's remote is included and is large enough to hold and manipulate easily 6] It's physical size lends itself to many many applications without modifications. It's our opinion that you can't go very wrong with this little unit!! A safe buy to be sure. Being an AUdiofile myself, I almost feel guilty buying such an inexpensive unit and actually being happy with it!!! Don't forget to buy the car adapter hardware and the electrical cable to adapt to your specific ride. They will make the installation a breeze.

I've installed a couple of these in a mid-size sports car and pick-up truck. Very warm sounding with a simple control panel layout & clean looking face. One of the best features being a front auxiliary input. Above all, I find this unit to sound great with factory speakers!! So if you're just looking to get an upgrade in a head unit, this would be a perfect place to start building your system. I can only imagine how great this would sound with an external amp!! But for now, I can say I'm very satisfied with the stereo running straight to the speakers.

Purchased this unit to go in our motorhome...didn't want to spend a lot, but wanted something decent. This unit looks good & sounds like a much more expensive unit.
Very easy to install, very easy to use, remote is great...definately worth more than it costs.

I bought this unit to replace the old 2 knob stereo in my camper. I had to cut the opening to make this fit but it looks great now. I can pull in radio signals that are usually weak with my SUV's radio. It sounds great for the price I paid. And I like the AUX input on the front panel. It allows me to hook up my MP3 player. It has decent power and the sound clarity is great. Overall I'm happy with this unit. I thought about something more expensive but it's only going in my camper which isn't used too often so I couldn't justify something more expensive.

I wasted my money on this stero. All I wanted to do was replace my 13 yo Chrysler factory radio with something decent that I could play my Ipod on and utilize a remote when driving. I was told this was a great sounding and affordable option. It's definitely affordable (downright cheap), but sounds terrible! There is no way to adjust the cheap eq to make the unit produce any kind of satisfying sound quality. The filtering is so shallow that the bass produced sounds like music playing in a huge cardboard box with really cheap speakers. The factory radio in my truck was not very impressive, but compared to this piece it actually sounded really good! I've already re-installed the old factory unit. Don't spend money on this thing.
