Pioneer is a great bang for the buck |

I have always had excellent results with Pioneer. I have a 2006 Ford F150 CrewCab which has now been upgraded with a Pioneer DEH4000 w/HD deck, a pioneer GM6300 4ch amp pushing 4 5x7 infinitys, and now this Pioneer GM-D7400 mono amp pushing a Kicker TCVT10 sub. The deck has a sub output and multiple sub settings along with the D7400s settings so you can dial in the bass where you like it. The amp takes up little space, does not use a lot of juice, and has a clean looking setup. If you opt for line out input you simple wire the speaker inputs into a supplied RCA cable and choose a speaker input setting on the amp vs having a bunch of speaker wires running into the amp directly. The amp looks great and has more than enough power for a single 10 so you can get great bass while still having the gain at a normal level. Great instructions and speedy delivery by Crutchfield. You might find a little cheaper price elsewhere but trust with Crutchfield and the support more than makes up for any price differences.

I was surprised how such a small amp can put out so much power! Im using this for a kicker CVR and it gives it the perfect amount of power, and doesnt take up hardly any space! Great amp.

I installed this amp combined with a kicker 12 CRV series (I believe). It is pushing the speaker at 400 watts RMS @ 2ohm. The clarity is great. The bass boost is nice and it is real noticeable. I thought the amp was kind of small when I received the box but don't let that fool you. I was not disappointed in any way so I could imagine you will be pleased. I will suggest that 4 gauge wiring be used, but then that's just a suggestion.

This amp is incredible, punches hard with minimal power consumption even at higher volumes. I listen to music while vacuuming/cleaning my car, and by the time I'm done, the battery still has plenty of juice to power the car. I was worried about the lack of space in my 03 Sebring Convertible, but this amp fits perfectly and works like it should.
