Purchased replacement speakers for my 2000 Dodge Durango which of course needed needed specialized mounting adaptor brackets. The Crutchfield advisor found me four excellent Pioneer car speakers at a great price, and this price included the adaptor brackets and adaptor wire harness for each speaker - excellent. Speakers went in perfectly and sound great. I could not be happier. I should add that I was able to buy all 4 speakers plus all the mounting hardware for the price that one replacement speaker would have cost me going through Dodge.

These speakers replaced the rear door factory Infinity set that came with my Dodge Durango. This set performs as expected and sounds good. I was surprised by the highs or treble capability. Lows or bass isn't anything to brag about but it's good.

I'm writing this review mainly because it frustrates me to no end when i see people complain about speakers having no bass. NONE of these upgraded speakers will have more bass than your stock speakers, they are all designed to reach better sound quality, not pound. ALL of them are designed to pair with subwoofers, your stock speakers are paper with low impedence meaning the cone throws a lot giving you some bass, it also blows the thing up easily. If any of you are reading this review looking for amazing sound without the need to add subs you need to get high quality componet speakers with a decent 4 channel amplifier to power them, this will get you on the same level (if not better) than those luxury cars with BOSE systems already installed. As for these speakers they sound good for the price, but the paper surrounding the cone might rip after heavy use, especially if you crank up the bass and push it beyond what it can do.

Sound is pretty good, but not the best. Installation of the speakers not the easiest. Speed clips included are a waste. Mastersheet stated a speaker bracket that didn't come with the box of speakers. It took a little modification to install them

Better than original in Lexus |

I purchased a used Lexus SC430 in which both front "high dollar" speakers were blown. These Pioneers sound great and have better bass than the original. Much better construction at 1/10 of the price of original stock speakers. Lexus should be ashamed to push the "quality" of their speaker system in this high-end vehicle.
