Put two of these subs in a custom fit box under the rear seat of a 2011 quad cab ram. Was orginally going to go with kicker, but the polks better accomodated the limited airspace (~.65 cubic ft) and were able to handle more RMS power that the comps. Still in the break-in period with mine and it sounds great. Pushing them with a boston acoustic 800.1 amp.

I installed 2 of these in a sealed box for my brother with a pound of stuffing inside and am powering them with a 600.1 Polk Audio amp. These subs deliver more than enough bass to complement any factory stereo or wallat friendly stereo system in a vehical. I owned 2 12" versions powered by the same amp now powering his system and my 12's lasted me 6 years before the surrounds finally gave out. These subs are all he asked for and more!!! The amp is still going strong too!!!

As one would expect from Polk Audio. these 10" woofers really deliver. I installed these in my 16 year old's 2001 Silverado Extended cab using the Crutchfield "free wiring kit". These 10's put all his buddies 12" to shame. (12" are overkill for such a small area as a pickup cab) I used custom enclosures that fit like a glove. They are down firing an really give these Polks some structure. After a 20 hour break in, you can crank these Polks up to aprox 75% effiency and they are clear and defined. Absolutly no muddy sounds on the off flex. I ran these in paralle with a 2 ohm 750 w amp. Just a great speaker period. Have not run beyond 75% ( I don't want to lose my hearing) But I'm sure they will handle it. Get you a pair and you'll be happy.

Nice sub. The cone isn't the best looking, with a bit of a gap between parts on the front, which doesn't look particularily "cool," but I'm not in it for looks. After broken in, it pounds like a champ, but at 10", can play anything from classical to techno, classic rock to hip- hop. Great all-rounder at a KILLER price. Get the grill- looks sweet! :) Mark W.

Great shipping Crutchfield. I ordered this sub late monday night, & recieved it Friday a lil' before noon, box was in perfect condition (outside & polk box). sub sounds good especially @ the price & looks very good. Very nice deep looking cone & nice wide surround. Just make sure you have connections for the negative(female) & positive (I.D.K. what size but it is bigger that a typical female connection for a speaker.) ....regular dual female connectors wont work(maybe it's my connectors???? mine are old.........Solder or modify connector for positive... other than that the sub sounds great.
