After reading multiple reviews on CNET, Amazon, and Crutchfield, I finally bought this sound bar. Is it the ultimate high-tech surround sound, no, but it is a great sounding sound bar to enhance a TV in a small room. I have watched movies, sports, and listened to music through this system and I am impressed with it's capabilities. The non-wireless sub-woofer is a drawback but if your in a small room it really isn't an issue.

I found out about this product from CNET.com which gave it very favourable reviews and was among the . I think it is a great buy and have been very happy with my purchase. My online game sounds are dramatically improved and much more rich and fill up the room which makes my gaming experience much greater. The fact that the subwoofer is not wireless actually works well with the set up I was looking for so I didn't consider it a negative. Overall easy set up and integration with my DVR and other Sony Products (TV, Playstation)

I bought the system after reading a review on the Crutchfield site. It replaced a pair of Bose 201s, a JBL center speaker an a Yamaha 8" powered sub. I couldn't be happier. Sony seems to have a knack to produce quality electronics at a reasonable price. The system was added to a Sony BD player and a Sony tuner-amp.
