Smart features can lower your energy costs — automatically
LED backlights are much more efficient than conventional fluorescent backlights, and the KDL-32EX700 has some other clever energy-saving features up its sleeve. Sony's "Presence Sensor" detects if you've stepped away from your TV and automatically turns the picture off. And a built-in room light sensor enables the TV to adjust the screen brightness based on your room's lighting conditions.

Exceeded my expectations March-26-10

I was researching TV's for my bed room, and frankly the TV's in the 32 inch range do not normally have the full feature set that the Sony 700 Series did.   The picture Quality is killer, motion control is great and no visible artifacts, the internet features for Netflix etc are really well done, and it took 5 minutes to get up and running.    I would also say the TV bezel etc... look very classy.   I like the Samsungs, but never liked the touch of red stuff or the extra lights that distract your eyes.   I have had several plasmas, LCD tv's, and I'm really picky about my selections.   This is really one great TV.

In summary, the price and quality are worth it.   I only wish it was a 37", but the sacrifice was well worth it.
