I bought these for my kids. They came with a long cord which was nice. They use them to watch movies, play video games, etc. when we are in places that require keeping the noise at a minimum. This is not the headphones for an audiophile, but great entry level headphones.

I'll probably hand these off to the kids. the poor fit and hollow sound won't work for my "cone of silence" that I like to get into when I am listening to my music or playing games. The two stars mainly reflect the poor acoustic quality. The only reason I did not give one was because I could not expect much for the price.

I live in a condo and watch DVD's late at night but didin't want the volume to disturb others. These headphones are great for late night watching and helped me stay within my budget. Not outstanding sound quality and I can't say what would happen if you really pushed them to the limit but for everyday movie watching I think they are a great buy!
