Watch DVDs in any room in your home with the Toshiba 22LV610U. This space-saver couples a crisp high-definition screen with a built-in DVD player to reduce clutter and unsightly wires. And it's compact enough to move easily from one room to another.

Built-in analog and digital tuners let you watch a variety of over-the-air TV broadcasts. Enjoy free high-definition programs simply by connecting an antenna. For more viewing options, connect an HD satellite receiver, cable box, or video game console to the TV's audio/video inputs. There's even a PC input so you can put this versatile TV to work as a computer monitor. The 22LV610U can also play DivX video files, making it easy to watch video clips you download from the Web to your PC.

Pop a music CD or disc loaded with MP3 or WMA files into the 22LV610U's side-loading DVD player to listen to your favourite tunes. The TV's built-in stereo speakers work fine for viewing, and a rear-panel minijack lets you plug in a pair of headphones for music listening.

Good Bedroom Unit March-06-10

Bought this specifically for use in the bedroom. Good size, nice picture, good enough sound. Remote is good, intuitive, so after a few days you can remember the important  buttons in the dark. Only negative are the on-screen menus, the type is too small to read without glasses (if you need 'em) from across the room. DVD player works good. Not stellar but a great second set and you can get rid of another box in the BR.

This is a great bedroom sized unit. Great picture. The sound isn't great but not too bad for a small tv. I have only had this unit for a short time but I have nothing to fear. I bought it from Crutchfield! I have done business with them for a number of years and I refuse to buy electronics from anyone else. You might find it cheeper but it will cost you in the end. These folks are number one in customer service.

The volume of sound is simply inadequate.  I will need some sort of aftermarket amplifier/speaker set up to use this device.
Other than poor sound, the product is all I could want.

I wanted to replace a smaller CRT TV that I have been using for my kitchen  table with a 19" LCD TV and this product more than exceeded my  exceptions.  I went from a large CRT box to a nice slim LCD unit.  It arrived  in a well designed box with good packaging to protect the unit.  The base is  already installed and it folds out and locks in place.  The remote control is  well laid out and although the buttons do not light up it will glow in the  dark.  The remote also comes with batteries. The unit looks very well made  and it has many features you would expect on a more expensive model.   The picture is excellent as well as the sound.  I am using an antenna and  the built in turner had no trouble pulling in local stations.  To my surprise I  was even getting good analog signals.  The built in DVD player is fantastic.   It was only a few dollars more than the stand alone version and it does not  add a great deal to the overall width.  The entire unit is very user friendly.   If you are looking for a smaller LCD for this price range you will not be  disappointed with this model.  Cruthfield also provided great customer  service.
