When buying this interface I was worried not that it would not play my library but that it would not change my iPhone 3GS 32GB. I am happy to say that it plays and charges my iPhone with no issues. It was very easy to install, you only have to hook up two wires in the back of the car, from the instructions I thought I had to go behind the NAV but luckily I didn't have to. I wish the iPhone cable was longer so you could keep the box next to the XM receiver but that wasn't the case so I put the box behind the drivers seat with velcro. It's easy access incase I want to hook up another source via RCA cable. Over all I would recommend this interface for any C6 Corvette owner with a iPod or iPhone including the 3GS.
Cheers, Chris

I enjoy this product everytime I go for a ride. I get to enjoy my music the way I want and listen to it in the order I choose. I have it in my Cadillac CTS with a headphone jack connected to the AUX input slots for my wife to be able to play her mp3. I had it installed by an approved Crutchfield installion location in Queens,NYC. This product is a great addition to anyone's ride if you soley want to be emersed in you own musical world, no more DJ's or annoying songs.

The device itself is great, good quality sound; even though I didn't try the iPod connector (I just wanted the input). Works great on an 2005 equinox. Found the connector in the trunk, on the driver's rear wheel well. Source button on radio does nothing but the band button allows you to select am, fm, XM if equipped, iPod if connected, and the input. I was leery about it working since I didn't have XM originally.
Word of caution, the pins on the y connector came bent for me, causing really poor sound quality; I only got sound from the driver's speaker, only got the data pin no ground. Look at the pins first if you are having problems. Jumper settings are confusing too since I didn't need the iPod and the input came disabled. Bit expensive for what it does but worth it to keep the factory look while adding my stiletto 2.
Tech support while not easy to understand and works pacific business hours, is helpful, I would have never guessed the pins were bent, that was one of the first things they asked about.
Would definitely recommend this item for those with a basic knowledge of electronics. I personally installed mine in the trunk where the connector is and ran an RCA cable to the front of the car, to avoid the need to unwire the car in the event of me selling the car or having to return the device.

First of all, Crutchfield rocks. Nobody does it better. I just installed the adapter today so I haven't had time to use it much but so far it does what it says it does. The installation was pretty straight forward. I installed the interface under the passenger seat so the iPod cable would reach the right side of the center control console. I also highly recommend the ProClip holder for this install, very clean.

I was disappointed when I first opened the box as there wasn't any specific directions on how to install the adapter in a CTS. No where did it state that the XM radio receiver is under the rear deck on the CTS. Installation took less than one hour. The iPod connection wire is about three feet long so I keep the iPod in my trunk. I have more than 5,500 songs on my iPod so I have to utilize playlists as the best way to navigate the iPod. I have had the XM radio source disappear from the radio twice since the install one month ago. This only happened when first turning on the radio. I turned off the car, removed the iPod, turned on the car and stereo. The XM source then showed up. I hooked up the iPod and everything has worked since. Prior to using this device I used a FM transmitter. While that was ok, it does not compare to the performance with this adapter. Besides my initial installation frustrations, I am very happy with this adapter.
