Install was easy, in no time, left channel went out. Don't waste your money. Just by a new head unit.

This is the only line-in option I found for the 2006 Ford F250 SD. The truck is easy to work on and Crutchfield's step-by-step made it easier. The reviews aren't very positive, but again, this is about the only option for the 2006. I have no issues with installation, setting the gain pot, or sound quality.

This adaptor worked great until the left channel went out. Checked all connections & power OK. I have this unit running off aux power switch on dash (2007 F-250 SD). Sometimes I can get it to work for a little while when I flip the aux power switch ON and OFF real fast. Kinda leary about buying another after reading reviews.

Installed easily but for some reason I didn't see the 12v hook up so that added a few minutes. Because of that I had the power on too long and killed my battery. Other than that mishap it works well and allows direct input at a low cost for the Ipod.

i installed this in my 2005Mustang GT with the factory Shaker 500 system so that i could get a line in for my sirius radio. it was a big improvement over the fm, however just about a day after the warranty was up the right channel stopped working. i should've just put the money towards a new head unit with a line in.
