To be honest with you I would have to do some research to because I had bought a KENWOOD media unit and I asked crutchfield and what they suggested worked perfect for me so my suggestion would be asked one of their rep's they won't steer you wrong.

Good morning Jamie I had the same problem and the little blue box has to be set on correct number that goes with your stereo brand and then it worked fine with bar controls

I had Crutchfeild prewire mine it works fine
steven  Jul 20, 2021

There is piece of wiring hardware for the handlebar controls. It has a small plastic box with a really small dial with numbers on it. You have to turn the dial to the proper number for the brand of radio you installed. There should be a chart in the paperwork that tells you which number goes with which radio manufacturer.

I installed on my 2010 Ultra Classic CVO and it worked fine. I don't have install guide in front of me, but i recall some possible DIP switch settings...?

Q
i have a 2004 Electra Glide without a radio - will this kit plug into the existing wire harness? I recently purchased a Kenwood KMM - Bt228U
alan  Nov 14, 2020

A
As long as your bike has the radio thumb controls on the handlebars and has all the factory wiring for a radio this kit will work. It plugs into the harness that used to plug into the back of the factory radio. Works great with most radios that have SWC (Steering wheel control) capabilities. PAC tech support is excellent too.
michael  Nov 19, 2020
A
Yeah it should plug in no problem. I've used one on an 05 before.

Q
The harness I have has 2 yellow and 2 black wires. Can you tell me what wires I'm supposed to use?
nick  Oct 14, 2020
1 answer
A
Typically any same colored wires like this will just be tied together. The picture doesn't show any duplicates like this but in most cases that's all you'd do.

Q
Will this Dash and Wiring Kit paired with a Sony DSX-M55BT work on my 2005 Harley Davidson FLHTCSE2 CVO model?
james  Aug 29, 2020

A
Yes the mounting kit will work but you would have to look on the PAC-audio website or call their tech support to verify it works with that particular stereo but if it has SWC input on stereo it will likely work.
michael  Nov 19, 2020
A
More than likely, I installed it in my 2010 Ultra Classic CVO and it fit perfectly....nice kit overall....

Q
Will this work with Kenwood kmr m322 bt?
rob  Feb 25, 2018
1 answer
A
Yes. The kit is made for use with standard single DIN chassis stereos and the Kenwood KMR-M322BT stereo is a standard single DIN chassis model. I hope that helps. My bio: https://www.crutchfield.com/bio/Ryan

Q
Will this allow the rear speakers on my ultra to power on too ?
nicky  Oct 04, 2017
3 answers
A
None of these will accommodate the rear speakers. And if it's the factory amplified model then you won't get any sound at all. Any of these kits are made for a street glide (just fairing speakers) and to retain handle controls. They are not audio devices like you'd expect in a car. Front L&R connections only
colton  Oct 14, 2020
A
Yes it will. It worked on my Electra Glide
do not want bus  Oct 04, 2017

No it will not. U will have to find the wires to the rear speakers and connect them to the radio.
