Features

Speaker Floorstands: The SPL32PL speaker floorstands were designed to work perfectly with Kanto's YU4 and YU6 powered speakers; use the screw hole on the base of each speaker and the included 1/4"-20 screws to securely fasten them to the stands. The SPL32PL speaker stands will also work with Kanto's YU2 powered speakers and other brands of speakers that are similar size and weight of Kanto YU series speakers (without securement screw). The stands allow you to place your compatible speakers at ear-level for optimal listening enjoyment.

Heavy-Duty Steel Construction: The Kanto speaker floorstands feature heavy-duty steel construction with an extra heavy-duty base that is designed to reduce undesirable vibration. The heavy-duty base measures 8.875" (w) x 10.5625" (d). Each stand weighs approximately 15 lbs. The speaker floorstands are available in a black or white finish to better match your speakers and room decor.

Adjustable Top-Plates: Two top plate sizes are provided to mount the Kanto YU2, YU4, or YU6 powered speakers; or other compatible speaker brand. The top-plates allow you to rotate your speakers to the left or right 15 degrees to ensure every sound reaches your ears. The top-plates can be positioned at -45, -30, -15, -0, +15, +30, or +45 degrees. The adjustment must be done prior to mounting the top-plates to the upright posts.

  • Rectangular Top-Plate Dimensions: 4.375" (w) x 7.125" (d)
  • Square Top-Plate Dimensions: 7.0625" (w) x 7.0625" (d)

Wire & Cable Management: The Kanto SPL32PL speaker floorstands feature hollow upright posts that allow you to easily route your power cable and speaker wire, ensuring they remain concealed. The power cable and/or speaker wire should be no larger than 1" in diameter.

Rubber or Spiked Feet: Interchangeable spiked and rubber dome feet ensure your speakers remain securely in place on carpet, tile, hardwood, vinyl, or laminate flooring. The spiked feet should be utilized on carpet flooring for greater stability. The rubber dome feet should be used on hardwood, tile, vinyl, and laminate flooring to prevent damage to your floors.

  • Height with Rubber Feet: 32.0625"
  • Height with Spike Feet: 32.5625"

Note: The speaker stands should not be used without the rubber or spiked feet installed.

Customer Q&A

Q
Will these work for Diamond Wharfdale 10.2?
adam  Feb 09, 2023
1 answer
A
Yes. These will accommodate most bookshelf sized speakers so long as they do not exceed the weight limit of 25 lbs per speaker and as long as the speakers don't overhang the top-plate by an excessive amount.

Q
Is there a bracket available so that I can secure rear-mounted speakers (such as the Samsung SWA-9500S) to this stand?

A
Not that I am aware of, but could use 2-piece Velcro strips attached to bottom of speaker and top of stand.
sheri f  Oct 29, 2022
A
Unfortunately there aren't any brackets available however, there are mounting holes and screws for securing speakers to stands. There is also interchangeable 4"-wide and 7"-wide top plates for use with different speaker models.

Is there a bracket available so that I can secure rear-mounted speakers (such as the Samsung SWA-9500S) to this stand?

A
Greetings Johannes, and thank you for your question. Unfortunately there is not. The Samsung SWA9500S does have a 1/4 20 thread insert. The stands we carry would not accommodate that.

Q
Will Klipsch RP-502S surround speakers work with these stands? (Kanto SP32) thank you
gregory  Apr 27, 2021
1 answer
A
The platform the speakers sit on is approx. 7" x 7". The RP-502S dimensions are larger than that. These stands are very solid but your RP-502S speakers will hang-over.

Q
Will a speaker remain stable simply set on top, not mounted?

A
Don't know. I believe so, but I used the smaller mounting platform and attached the speaker.
joseph  Sep 05, 2020
A
They will sit on top, but would only trust the stability for a short length of time. May not even sit level uncounted. Would definitely recommend mounting the speakers.
anthony  Sep 05, 2020
A
Yes! I use them with a pair of JBL 530, this stand is solid!
carlos  Sep 05, 2020
A
It comes with a two sets of top platforms -- small for Kanto speakers that can be screwed down and large for other speakers which don't screw down. The bases are quite heavy, so as long as somebody does not push the unmounted speakers off the stands, then you should be fine.
richard  Sep 05, 2020
A
Depending on the size of the speaker and as long as nobody bumps it.
tim  Sep 05, 2020
A
Kanto speakers can be secured by screw mounting them to the Kanto speaker stands. Other brands of speakers without mounting holes at the bottom can be easily knocked over by kids or pets if simply set on top of the Kanto speaker stands. You can use Bostik Blu-Tack (reusable adhesive) to secure them in place and the provided spikes for more stability in a room with carpet on the floor.
david kennedy  Sep 04, 2020

I imagine it would depend on the size of the speaker. I have a Apple HomePod just sitting (not bolted) on mine and I've never had issue or have any worry about stability. The stands are very well made and sturdy, apart from the fact that one of them arrived with a dent on the bottom plate I have been very happy with them, they are very easy to assemble and I like the way they are designed to route the cable, very thoughtful design.
sherman k  Sep 04, 2020
A
If you use Kanto speakers they will attach via a mounting bolt. If you use other brands like Polk they just sit on top. I am using these stands with Polk L100's
craig  Sep 04, 2020
A
Yes, mine sit on top and are not mounted. I have a four year old daughter and two dogs that play in the same room and have never had any issues or concerns. These are by far the best speaker stands I've ever had. Just wished they made a center channel stand. I had to buy another set and chop one down.
justin  Sep 04, 2020
A
I purchased some sticky hook and loop pads (velcro) and stuck one on the stand and another on the speaker and it seems to hold on well enough.
