The Clarion CZ505 CD receiver lets you add the features you want and upgrade your sound while you're at it. Use the receiver's built-in Bluetooth to make calls and stream music, and an HD Radio tuner gives you enhanced sound quality from participating stations.
Bluetooth is great for hands-free calls, but we really like the way the CZ505 handles music streaming. You can stream at near-CD quality if your Android phone is aptX compatible, or if your iPhone contains AAC music files. The difference in sound quality over regular Bluetooth is noticeable.
Built-in HD Radio really improves the sound quality, too. If your favorite local station broadcasts a digital HD Radio signal, your FM stations will sound almost as good as a CD, while AM stations sound like traditional FM. One nice thing about listening to music on HD Radio is that it really gives you your bass back.
You'll also get other great features, like Pandora control, a parametric EQ, and a variable-color display you can match to your interior lighting. The CZ505 is ready for satellite radio, too, with an optional tuner and a subscription.
Replacing your factory radio makes a big difference in sound quality, and gives you some nice extra features, too. And if you're interested in all these features in a double-DIN design, check out the Clarion CX505 receiver. If you have any questions about this or other radios, please give Crutchfield a call.
