4 grand!!!!!! you could literally purchase an Apogee Symphony, RME UFX, Burl Mothership (or a lot of others) for about same price or less and i bet twice the quality....a little dumbfounded as to why a set of Solid State Inputs and some "alright" DA costs 4 grand?

The curse of the audiophile is his own belief in the golden ear. Why of COURSE I'm willing to spend as much on a pre-amp as I would a quality used car, and as much on a turntable as I could pay for a new Audi! Was there ever any doubt? 4000$ for some 400$ worth of costs is way over the top in extreme overpricing

I have a pair of active KRK speakers. I'm looking to front end them with a preamp that has a remote and can do at least 6 bands of EQ. Inputs include iPhone mini stereo jack and an RCA device or two (cd player, etc). Is this the product I want?
