Ken: Hi, I'm Ken.

Zak: And I'm Zak, and we're here today in the Crutchfield Video Studio with the Sony MEX-BT5100 CD receiver.

Ken: I like this CD receiver. It's built from the ground up for great sound. It's got a strong amplifier and great CD drive. It actually has a CD signal-to-noise ratio of 120 dB — that's really up there. That means all your CDs are going to have really great sound. Clean and crisp with a big open soundstage.

Zak: Excellent.

Ken: I also like the layout. It's a little bit off the beaten path here with this joystick but it's got a nice big display. It's easy to see. As we go through the sources, you can see it. They're easy to read. Nice and clean. And I like how this joystick works. You can turn it for volume and let's say you want to change something. Let's look at the clock. How many of us remember how to change that?

Zak: I always forget how to do that.

Ken: Same here. Let's just go in, clock adjust, go over, up we go... 8:20 sounds pretty good to me. Let's go back, and we are out of there. It's just that simple.

Zak: Not bad. And of course, it does a lot of things, too. You mentioned the CD playback but it's also got an aux in and also will control your iPod with an optional adapter. But my favorite thing is that Bluetooth is built right into this unit.

Ken: Nice.

Zak: Good for getting hands free calls, streaming music. [phone rings] Ha.

Ken: Is that for you?

Zak: The number comes right up on the display, and I've got to take this, Ken, I'm sorry.

Ken: You take care of that. That's the Sony MEX-BT5100 CD receiver with Bluetooth.

Zak: Hello? We're almost done with the video. Hold on, man.
