Randal, the Note 4 is not on JVC's list of compatible devices, so we can't say for sure. However, you should note that the MHL-related functionality of this receiver requires the parking brake to be engaged for use, with the exception of using certain navigation and music apps. If you're looking for broader smartphone accessibility in-dash while the car is in motion, you may want to consider a receiver with Android Auto, which requires a device operating on Android Lollipop 5.0 or higher.

How does this unit work with an android such as the Note 4? Will it give me the option to use maps and other apps from the screen of the radio. Will it display the navigation on the radio screen?

William, if you're referring to minute 0:12 in the video, the JVC receiver screen will adjust to any of the six angles you see on-screen to compensate for sun flare, driver position, and other factors.
