Video: Nest Learning Thermostat
A smart, remote-controlled thermostat that'll save on energy costs

Voiceover: Vernon from Nest stopped by Crutchfield Headquarters for a training session, so we asked him to tell us about the features of the Nest Learning Thermostat.
Vernon: There are a lot of things that are cool about the Nest Learning Thermostat, but probably the most important feature is the energy savings. Well, there's four main features of it. The first is what we call Auto-Away. It learns when you're home and when you're away and will automatically set your temperature back to an energy saving temperature so you're not heating or cooling an empty home.
The other neat thing about it is what we call Auto-Schedule. So based off the interactions you do with it, it's going to go ahead and create a pattern and will adjust that over time so it comes up with a schedule that meets your lifestyle.
After that, the next big feature is what we call the Nest Leaf. So as you see as I'm turning this dial it's giving me indications that when I'm at an energy saving temperature. So it helps guide you towards good energy savings habits.
And then finally the other main feature is Energy History. So if you make a setting on the device you can go back and see the last ten days of your energy history right there.
Voiceover: If you have any questions about Nest products please give Crutchfield a call.
