No matter how awesome your stereo system is, it can't compete with road noise. Sure you could crank it up louder but that just leads to ear strain and headaches. Or, there's a better way — Dynamat. It eliminates road noise and creates a richer sound stage in your car so your music sounds better.
Dynamat is a dense, yet pliable rubber material that absorbs vibrations and deadens those unwanted noises. The effect is that your car becomes a quieter place for listening to music.
To apply it, you cut the Dynamat to fit the shape of the area you're covering, peel the paper backing, just a little at a time, and then stick it on. Using a hard roller to press it into place will make it easier to apply and also help insure that it sticks.
Dynamat comes in pre-packaged kits so you get just the amount you need. For an overall reduction of noise in the car we suggest the door kit. It contains four sheets of Dynamat, each 12 inches wide and 36 inches long. Doing that will block out most of the noise in your vehicle's cabin and make your car feel like a quiet, luxury ride.
On the other hand, if you have a couple of subwoofers in the trunk and also a lot of rattling, the Dynamat trunk kit is the answer to your problem. It quiets the rattling, drastically reduces resonance, and reinforces the trunk for better bass handling. And don't forget the most annoying rattle in a bass heavy car — the license plate. Dynamat created a kit specifically to fix that problem area as well.
