Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
Can't say enough about Crutchfield....Live in Saint Croix the Virgin Islands never have a problem the orders here within a week items were awesome thank you so much????
From Bose: Solo 5 TV Sound System
The Bose® Solo 5 TV sound system fits neatly in your setup and provides big Bose® sound.
Have a smaller living room or secondary TV room? The Bose® Solo 5 TV sound system won't take up much space and offers a serious upgrade to the tiny speakers in your TV. Measuring less than 3" tall, this sleek sound bar fits below most modern TV designs, flat or curved. And the system delivers the clarity and detail we expect when the name Bose® is on the box.
There's also built-in Bluetooth®, making the Bose® Solo 5 a space-saving solution for movies, shows, and music.
Bose® specializes in making things easy to hook up and use right away. This system connects to your TV with a single cable. An optical digital cable is included. The Bose® Solo 5 system automatically recognizes when you've connected it your TV. And the programmable universal remote can operate your TV, Blu-ray player, cable box, and other components along with the sound bar.
This sound bar can be wall mounted with the Bose® WB-120 wall mount kit (sold separately).
Our customers often tell us they have to crank the TV volume up to hear speech, only to turn it down when music and effects get loud. With the Bose® Solo 5 system, you don't have to do all that. You can hear even whispered dialogue at reasonable volumes. A special "Dialogue mode" makes speech even more audible.
And bass for sound effects? Dial in just the right amount of low-frequency impact with the remote's bass control button.
More and more people use sound bars for music listening as well as TV. The Bose Solo 5 TV sound system makes that easy. It has Bluetooth on board, which lets you stream audio from your phone or tablet.
Have a killer library of downloaded tunes? Stream playlists from music services like Spotify® or Pandora? Any song you can play on your device can be played wirelessly through this system.
Good value for the money. Smaller unit than others on market. Good for second TV.

Good value for the money. Smaller unit than others on market. Good for second TV.
Pros: Good value
Cons: Smaller size
Nice easy upgrade
Love the sound , works great with my tv . Remote is easy to use !
Pros: Love it small and easy to use sounds great
Cons: None so far
Very pleased with this sound bar. So easy to set up. The clarity is great...now that we are older, it certainly helps!!
I could not be more pleased with the sound quality.
Pros: Easy to connect and sits right in front of our TV.
I love sound bar when it works, I connected to optical cable it doesn't work and then I tried to connect via blue tooth doesn't work. When it work its great little device.
Cons:Crutchfield response on 11/28/2018 Bill, if you purchased this product from Crutchfield, feel free to contact our Tech Support team. They can help you solve the problem or set up a return within 60 days of purchase. Lifetime tech support comes with every Crutchfield purchase.
Amazing sound from this little sound bar. Has vocal mode to help my grandpa heat and understand the tv better. Would buy again!
Great sound. Easy to install. Received in 2 days by standard shipping.
This is a great soundbar for the price. Awesome sound.
Pros: Great value, great sound.
It doesn't work with my TV. I've tried the supplied optical cable, and when that didn't work I spent another $20+ dollars on a RCA to coaxial setup and that didn't work either. I still need to call Bose tech support to see if they can walk me through some kind of patch. If that does the trick, I'll update my review accordingly. But for right now, I'm $270+ into this thing and all I have is a paperweight.
Pros: None so far
Cons: No sound whatsoeverCrutchfield response on 9/19/2018 Once we saw this review, our Tech Support team reached out to this customer to help him further. We'll either help him get his system working the way it should, or help him return it for an exchange or refund.
Great sound and size for bedroom. Can't beat the sound of a Bose speaker system. Some of the Bluetooth features aren't user friendly as I'd like.
Pros: Size and sound
Cons: Bluetooth connection
wow I can not believe the sound.so crisp and clear.easy to set up and use.i never thought a soundbar could sound so great.
Pros: great detailed sound that fills a room.
excellent sound, could use a little less base
Just what we wanted, simple yet sophisticated.
Nice little unit
The Bose Solo 5 replaces an older Bose sound bar. We really liked the older sound bar. The New Bose Solo 5 is much better than the older sound bar. The clarity of the spoken word is very good, even without my hearing aids in.
Projects the sound forward. TV speakers project downward. Much easier to hear.
Great sound for size.Bluetooth feature is a nice extra.
I was delighted with the picture of my new 4K Ultra HD Sony. However, despite an abundance of audio controls within the TV, nothing improved the rather "tinny" sound. I don't have the TV in a large room or a large TV stand so I purchased the Bose Solo 5. This sound bar does exactly what Bose is good at - delivering big sound from a small package. The sound is crisp and clear and delivers ample bass even though is is not paired with a sub woofer. The improvement in sound with the Solo 5 compared with the TV's internal downward firing speakers is like night and day. If you need to improve your TV's sound and do not have a very large room this sound bar will do the job!
Pros: Small size but big sound
Cons: No HDMI connection.
I'm a big Bose fan and this sound bar doesn't disappoint. Sound is full and rich and you can adjust how much bass you want. It has Bluetooth as well. Since I am in a condo it was the perfect choice for a smaller space.
The improvement of the sound quality of the Bose over the regular TV speakers is striking, The ability to enhance the spoken words adds more clarity and ease to understanding what is being said. I am very pleased with this upgrade. I had some problems getting it to work properly, but with help from the very qualified support people at Crutchfield, those difficulties were soon behind me. The problem was with my TV and not the Bose Soundbar.
Pros: Great product.
Cons: Have older TV but a work around was found
This product was a bit tricky to set up in regard to programming the supplied remote with my TV and cable box. I got past that hurdle and it worked great as far as sound was concerned. Sound wise it was everything I was looking for. The problem is, after one day it quit working. Repeated efforts to get it to work using the trouble shooting guide failed. I think it just "gave up the ghost" after about eight hours of use.
Pros: Sound is fantastic
Cons: It quit working after about eight hours of use.
A terrific sound from a smaller sound bar. This is a secondary tv so super theater sound was not required, just needed something to be able to hear the sound properly (over the noise from a spin bike) and play music, this does the job far better than expected. More than adequate bass too. Easy setup, looks great on the wall. The one gripe is the size of the remote....its HUGE, and way more functionality than is needed for a simple TV speaker. Would be nice too if an option for simple mounting with screws on the wall vs the [pricey] mounting bracket
Pros: size sound quality
Cons: ridiculously big & complicated remote pricey mounting bracket
The solo 5 is very easy to install and set up. The only problem i had was programming the remote to control my dish hopper. It wouldn't work selecting the dishnetwork code. The back of the dish remote indicated that it was made in mexico so i used the dish mexico code and then everything worked great. I like that the sony remote controls all the devices. I also like the remote option to highlight voices....i'm old and this helps a lot. The sound coming out of this speaker is great. The Bose quality is wonderful. I buy from Crutchfield because I know that they can help me should i run in to problems installing.
Pros: Easy installation, great sound, wonderful remote
Pretty good product. EZ set up with good sound and plenty of it. Remote is a bit bulky & I would have like it if the volume/bass levels could be seen on the TV while I'm adjusting it instead on looking at flashing dots on the sound bar. Nice wall mount and I like the minimalistic design. Gotta love Crutchfield, they have great support. I gave them a call on Sunday morning for help setting up the Bose remote for source codes. Got help right away and now I've got one remote to take the place of three.
Works perfectly and sounds great. Adds depth to the sound of our TV without being bulky or complicated. Added bonus is that the remote seamlessly controls our tv and Apple TV. With one remote we now can handle all of the functionality of our TV. Lastly, the Bluetooth feature is awesome and allows people to connect and play music whenever they want. Would buy this thing again 10 times over.
Pros: Size, sound, functionality, options
Cons: It's a little tricky to program the remote.
I LOVE THE BOSE SOLO 5 I HAD A LITTLE BIT OF A TIME HOOKING IT UP BUT THEN REALIZED I HAD THE WIRE IN THE WRONG SPOT BUT AFTER THAT IT WAS A PIECE OF CAKE.THE SOUND IS GREAT CAN HEAR THE VOICES GREAT JUST LIKE ADVERTISED ALSO EASY TO ADD SOME BASE IF YOU LIKE BASS.ONE THING I DONT LIKE IS THE LARGE CONTROLLER YOU CAN RUN ALL YOUR EQUIPMENT FROM IT BUT I ALREADY HAVE 3 CONTROLLERS LIKE IT .WOULD BE BETTER IF IT JUST CONTROLLED THE VOLUME
Pros: LOVE THE SOUND AND THATS WHAT COUNTS FOR ME
Cons: FOR ME THE LARGE CONTROLLER ALTHOUGH SOME PEOPLE MIGHT LIKE IT
Easy to install. Remote is a bit bulky, but it does a lot if you set it up. Pumps clarity of dialog.
Pros: You don't need a surround sound device. Two plug set up on smart tv (one to electric outlet; one to tv; included). You have the option to keep operation simple (audio up/down/dialog mode).
Cons: Bose is bass heavy with no adjustment option. Some tv shows with suspense have a background thump which can be distracting.
great price for this bose, and great sound
I have only had this for 1 week but have found it to be outstanding. I recommend it to anyone. It has enhanced my TV sound tremendously. The only downside is that I cannot use my cable company's remote because they do not have a code for Bose so I had to use the Bose code and rely on their remote. I am having issues with syncing the TV and sound system on the remote so I only have one operation.
Cons: The remote did not sync with TV properly. I am still working on fixing this.
Great And Great response from Crutchfield
Pros: The best sound system going
I purchased the Bose Solo 5 for my home office. My office is about 14x14. What a big difference in sound quality! If you are looking for a top quality, no hassle installation, look no further. I only wish I'd done it sooner.
Pros: Great improvement to voice quality. Make sure you purchase the mounting kit for a hassle free installation.
My sound bar allows me to hear sounds all over the living room.
Pros: Good sound
Cons: No Cons
I purchased Solo 5 primarily to aid my degraded hearing in understanding my TV audio dialog. I have not been disappointed as Solo 5 DIALOG mode has significantly enhanced TV dialog.plus music sound improvement.
its good not great
My new SMART TV has a great picture, however, terrible speakers. The Bose Solo 5 sounds awesome. It has plenty of bass, for an average sized room, and the Clear Speech feature, makes dialog very easy to hear. A very simple hook up with one digital optical cable (included). The universal remote was easy to program and controls the Solo 5, TV, and cable box. I'm very happy with the unit and would highly recommend it.
Pros: sounds great, easy to connect, compact size, universal remote makes life easier
Cons: can't think of any
My husband has trouble hearing. We had a Bose Solo system for a good many years and it failed. He was so miserable with the tv sound that I purchased a new one. Now we have peace. We love it.
A sound bar is totally necessary with these new TVs, and a Bose is almost as good as it gets. I wish I had done it a long time ago. Eddie
Pros: A sound bar is totally necessary with these new TVs, and a Bose is almost as good as it gets. I wish I had done it a long time ago. Eddie
Great sound in nice small package.
Pros: Great compact size. Awesome sound
Cons: Thought it came with mounting brackets
not happy with the remote...bass is only so so...I really can't tell the difference.....will be returning. I thought bose would be a better product.....will look around for something else
I've been looking for a smaller sound bar for my 32 inch HDTV for some time. I don't need, or have the room for massive equipment, but I wanted a better sound then the speakers on my Samsung could deliver. It wasn't bad, but I knew I could get better sound with a sound bar or something. I did try a different sound bar before this one, but it was so big, it just didn't fit my setup. But I thought this Bose might work. Well so far I very happy with it. It has great sound that I really like. I know some people complained about the bass, but I thought it added plenty. And being able to enhance the dialogue is a wonderful addition. The only problem I had was trying to get the remote to control the TV. I followed the directions for inputting the codes, but no luck. I talked to the guys in your support department, and although they didn't fix the problem, they tried a lot of different things with me and gave me further suggestions to try on my own. Finally, after inputting several different Samsung codes, I went back to the code given in the owners guide and it worked! I guess the (approximate) 45th time was the charm. And, to be fair, the owners guide did say that you may need to "repeat this procedure 30 or more times", and they weren't kidding. Although the cable box was no problem and paired up immediately. Long story short, I would recommend this sound bar.
Great product for the price but I expected a little more for the brand
Great crisp sound, very clear and loud.
Pros: What is expected of BOSE sound. High Quality.
Cons: A bit small. 2Ft in length.
I purchased the original Solo many years ago and liked it so much I just purchased a Solo 5 system to join with my large screen Samsung T.V. Could not be happier with this sound system. Bose is the best sound anywhere at any price.
Pros: Convenient size and sound quality.
Cons: None known.
Bought because I'm hearing impaired. Not as good as I hoped for but definitely better than without it.
Pros: Definitely better sound than tv speakers
Cons: Remote is difficult to keep working.
Cost effective way to solve the problem of poor speakers provided with a flat panel TV plus provide blue tooth capability for high fidelity sound from your phone or ipad.
Pros: great sound in small compact package
Great sound bar to have in your secondary room. Not a home theater bar but makes the sound more alive for sure. Just enough bass as well when needed.
Bought as an anniversary gift, couldn't be happier with this sound bar
Pros: Awesome sound for a TV room, much clearer than the tv speaker, movies sound great- much better definition of speech, bass and background music. Love it
this bose speaker is far better than the flat screen speaker. I can hear much better
Great sound from a small soundbar - at a very low price. Delivers expected Bose superior quality.
Pros: Smaller than most sound bars, but with better sound than the larger Sony bar it replaced. And far better sound than the 40" Sony tv speakers.
Cons: Not as good as the larger Sonos i have in another room - but it was never intended to be.
Excellent sound, easy hookup, was able to put on a shelf above TV. Love it.
This was perfect for the bedroom
This is a fairly minimal soundbar that I wanted to mount below a 32" wall mounted bedroom television. It made voices much clearer but voice clarification requires the Bose handheld in addition to Comcast controller.
Pros: Mounts cleanly on wall with seperate wall mounting kit
Cons: Need to use both the Comcast and Bose remote for optimal. I will be looking for a 2nd remote for my wife to also be able to get real functionality of sound bar
It's great for it's purpose. Only complain is that the remote can't replicate the home button for a 4k smart tv.so you have to use 2 remotes. I have Marantz system with arc .I like it because I can use just one remote. now I take the headphone signal from the marantz amplifier to solo input.
Pros: clear voice
Cons: no ARC
Great boosted the clarity of the sound a great deal
Pros: Great product for the cost
This is a simple easy to use soundbar. I purchased this to replace an old Bose son bar that had conked out on me. This is much smaller than the old one but sounds just as good. Setup took all of 10 minutes and moat of that time was unpacking everything. The one negative I would give this is the remote. It's HUGE. I understand it's a universal remote but I don't nred that. The old soundbar had a nice small credit card slim remote.
Pros: Setup and sound quality
Cons: The enormous remote
I purchased this sound bar for a Christmas present to my son-in-law and he loves it. Very good sound with a lot of base. If you are looking for surround sound this is not what you want.
I have to agree with reviewer - Carson city, NV - 12-18-16 - I am a big BOSE fan - but this sound bar did not make a significant contribution to sound clarity - considering the $ . It was an improvement over the TV sound system and I do not regret the purchase. It simply was not worth the money. This is the sound that should have/would have come with the TV once upon a time - long ago in how America used to be. BUMMER indeed.
Pros: shoulda been a contender
Cons: instead of bum which most are w/o a costly additions.
it does what i wanted it to. better sound from my tv. the remote keeps getting out of whack.
Pros: simple to install and use. great improvement in sound from the tv.
Cons: remote has good intent, but goes out of whack, easily.
Bought this to replace my samsung tv's poorly sounding downward facing stereo speakers and was only marginally impressed. There is a improvement of sound quality, but for what you pay it's a poor value. This soundbar is good for dialog, I'll give it that, but lacks bass and does not do a great job simulating surround sound. I would have bumped this up one more star if it had a line out so I could connect an external subwoofer but sadly it lacks the capability. I returned this soundbar and went the next step up to the Bose Solo 15 which while better than the Solo 5, was even more disappointing for the price. I finally settled on a ZVOX 670 and it's not even close, ditch the bose and take a look at what ZVOX has to offer. The ZVOX has 5 tweeters vs the solo 5's 2 tweeters and also includes 3 5 inch downward facing subwoofers for Loud base. Now the ZVOX is a sound base, not a sound bar so I had to put the TV on top of it but it looks much better in my opinion (unless you are going to wall mount the soundbar). The ZVOX has a line out for a sub (not needed though) and 2 digital inputs. They have cheaper models and also soundbars if you don't want a base but I would highly recommend them instead of bose.
Pros: Ok sounding dialog
Cons: No Bass No external subwoofer line out Only 1 digital input NO BASS Not a good value for the money
I received this sound bar as a gift and was excited because Bose products are usually excellent. This product seems like a center speaker, not a sound bar. I thought it would be able to simulate surround sound, but it doesn't. Action movies sound best when it's volume is full blast, I don't believe that should be needed. I am extremely disappointed so I returned it. I feel this product should cost $50.00, not $250.00.
Cons: Not worth the price.
Very impressed with the sound the Bose Solo 5 brings to my otherwise tinny TV. So much bass from such a small box. Easy to hook up and the universal remote is one of the best I've seen, it really does substitute for the cable/dvr and TV remotes. Bluetooth hook up to my phone for streaming music is also a great feature. Couldn't expect more from such a small unit.
Works Great. Much Better than older model Bose. +
Sound is a nice improvement over the TV's speakers, easier to hear the movie dialog. Very easy to set up and program the remote. The reason I rated it three stars is because of the shipping package. It was shipped just in the factory box, it had holes and rips in the box. The unit itself wasn't damaged. It should have been packaged in a additional box for protection. I was going to purchase a $10,000.00 plus lens from crutchfield but now having second thoughts because of the shipping container it would be placed in. Overall I'm very satisfied with the Bose Solo 5 itself.
Pros: Better sound than the TV speakers.
Cons: Poor shipping package
Significant improvement to TV sound system. Easy to install, compact, good performance at reasonable cost. Significant voice enhancement. Very satisfied. Excellent tech support.
Greatly improved the sound of our TV. I especially like the dialog feature as we watch a lot of British mysteries which are full of dialog. It was easy to install and comes with a remote that controls our cable box and TV. Well worth the money!
Pros: Great sound, dialog feature, easy installation.
Great price for the quality of sound. This was a big improvement over the sound provided by our 48 inch Sony. The included remote control works perfectly for the Sony and cable box.
A huge thank you to Buddy, Abe and two other guys I talked/chatted with to get my new Bose Solo 5. I had to replace my old Bose Solo original and wasn't sure what to get. I loved my old Bose Solo and it was just perfect for what I wanted. Now I love my new Bose Solo 5. Talking with Buddy helped me decide which Bose Solo to get. Then Chatting with Abe to ask the questions I forgot to ask Buddy! Hey, I pushing 70 and I forget sometimes. LOL I ordered my Bose Solo 5 on Monday late afternoon California time. I installed it yesterday (Thursday). Being my big screen TV is going on 10 years old, it doesn't have optical ability. Here's where talking to one of the guys told me what cable I needed. I when to my box of cables and found one. I called in again to make sure as the end colors where different. In less than 5 minutes I was up and had great sound again. Thank you to all involved helping me decide, helping me get it ordered and getting me up and running. Crutchfield will be my first and last stop for all my needs.
Pros: Sound, Easy of setup and Crutchfield support
Perfect! Needed a small sound bar with good sound to fit in a tight space. This exceeded my expectations. Small sound bar with big full sound. Great bass response.
Pros: fits small space
Expected more from Bose and for the price. Does not "sound" like a Bose. Using optical connection. Better than TV built in speakers. I am likely to return this item.
Pros: Easy to set up and easy to use. Improvement compared to TV speakers.
Cons: Price to high for sound quality. No way to view volume level.
it was a gift they loved it
You can't ask a product that is at this price point to give any more than the solo5 does. It's not the top of the line, but if you are in my situation where I can't indulge myself and go all out price wise, you certainly will be content with this Bose product. I have owned Bose before so I came into this expecting a lot and I wasn't disappointed. Like I said,it's not competing with a sound bar costing double (or more) .In my small apartment it does great, and you can link it up via Bluetooth, and play the songs on your phone as well. Worth the money in my book.
Pros: Sound, with the ability to switch to emphasizing voice. Value ease of connection with optical hookup wire.
Cons: It's not going to sound like a top of the line home theater set-up(not for this much money). The remote is more than you need and was a little hard to use as a universal remote.
We're enjoying our TV and movies much more than we did with just the built-in TV speakers. Also, the support of this company is outstanding. Before purchasing, I talked with two support people, one via chat and one via phone. They had plenty of time for me, and all the information I needed. I highly recommend Crutchfield, and the Bose 5 soundbar. Money well spent.
Pros: Excellent sound quality, and plenty of bass for my needs. Easy setup. Dialogue control is very useful.
Cons: Programming universal remote can be tricky.
Very easy to set up and for what I wanted it worked great. The sound is excellent and the shipping was quick.
Pros: service, sound quality
Good clarity good bass the tv comes alive!!
Pros: Sounds good easy Bluetooth connectivity easy to use
Cons: Blocks the remote sensor on the Sony tv!
My 3rd bose soundbar but this is my first solo5. Hookup was so easy and the remote takes care of all 3,cable, tv, and Bose with the push of 1 button! Love the sound and being able to control the base.
Pros: Ease of hookup
Cons: Hooked optical wire into tv as it said but no sound, hooked into cable box and worked immediately.
Nice upgrade to replace tv speakers. Easy to connect.
Pros: Compact size with great sound
Cons: Does not connect to Cox mini-boxes, only to their full size box (according to Cox); so you have to use Cox controller for power switch and for channel selector
Another great Bose product. Setup was easy, dialogue very clear. Bluetooth connectivity seamless. Fills a room quite well with sound for a standalone speaker.
Usually, when you see the Bose name, you assume it's a good product. Well this soundbar did not disappoint. It's one of the smallest soundbars I've seen but it outperforms even my larger one. The sound fills the room and is quite clear and crisp. I didn't rate it for Bluetooth because I haven't used that. I''ve been using the included optical cable. It takes up very little room on my TV stand.
Pros: Small/inconspicuous Excellent sound
easy out of the box set up and use
I hear the dialog much better plus there is background music that I did not know was there previously. The little speakers in the TV just did not produce the sound.
Pros: Very good sound
Cons: A little more complicated than a plug and play but not real bad.
Works great, outstanding dialogue clarity, it's the best
Pros: Dialogue clarity is terrific
Cons: No issues
The reason i decided on this unit was for the clarity of the dialogue. I am fairly hard of hearing and this soundbar comes through as advertised. I have had 5.1 systems with real nice speakers that can't match the clarity of this. You will not get the amazing surround sound effect or booming bass. However if you want clarity this is a great value.
Pros: Clear dialogue, ease of setup, small footprint.
Cons: Sound is not enveloping like a 5.1 system
Great addition to our new TV. Crystal clear sound....expect nothing less from BOSE! Highly recommend the wall mount.
Needed a Short soundbar , under 28", for my RV and Bose just came out with this. If you are a fan of Bose sound you will be very happy. Plenty of bass for RV environment . As my ears have gotten older, the dialogue control is great for watching news, dramas and TV. The connections are great, optical for TV, bluetooth for iPhone , and direct connect for iPod . All three can remain connected, which is great . The remote synced with my Samsung TV with no trouble, so 1 remote controls everything.
Pros: Connections all very easy sounds great in the RV
Cons: Have to buy separate bracket to hang on wall

Active Soundbar Speaker: The Bose Solo 5 is a one-piece soundbar speaker system that brings noticeably better sound to your flat-panel television. It's engineered to help clearly reproduce everything from dialogue, music, to sound effects. The Bose Solo 5 incorporates TrueSpace technology, Videostage circuitry and a Dialogue mode to get the most enjoyment from this one-piece soundbar speaker system.
Digital & Analog Inputs: The Bose Solo 5 soundbar speaker is fitted with two digital inputs (optical/coaxial) and one stereo minijack input (3.5mm), so you can connect virtually any TV. The optical and coaxial digital inputs support 2ch PCM and Dolby Digital (up to 5.1ch). To enjoy the full benefit of hearing audio through the Bose Solo 5, the internal speakers in your TV should be turned off.
Note: The digital optical output terminals of most newer flat-panel TVs only send an audio signal in 5.1ch when receiving Dolby Digital surround sound from the TV's built-in tuner, network connection, or connected USB device; and will output only 2ch stereo from sources connected to the TV via HDMI, or RCA (like your Blue-ray/DVD player or satellite/cable box).
Bluetooth Music Streaming: With built-in Bluetooth, the Solo 5 can wirelessly play back stored music and music apps from your Bluetooth-enabled Apple iOS iPod/iPhone/iPad, Android smartphone/tablet, Windows Phone/PC, Mac computer/laptop, or other Bluetooth compatible devices. You can control basic music playback functions (like Play/Pause & Previous/Next Track) from the included remote control. Song/artist information will still be viewed on your Bluetooth device. You can pair up to 8 devices and keep 2 devices connected for easy switching between devices.
Note: Due to the differences in Bluetooth technology, some Bluetooth enabled devices may be incompatible, function improperly, or may not support all features when used with the Bose Solo 5.
Bass Level: You can adjust the Bose Solo 5's bass performance to your liking from the included remote control.
Universal Remote Control: The Bose Solo 5 includes an IR universal remote control for wireless operation of the soundbar speaker. You can also program the universal remote to control your TV, DVD, Blu-ray Disc player, cable/satellite box, game system, or DVR. You can also program most other manufacturer universal remote controllers to operate the Bose Solo 5 soundbar.
Mounting Options: The Solo 5 soundbar speaker can simply be placed on flat tabletop surface in front of your flat-panel TV. The Bose WB-120 Wall-Mount Kit (018WB120, sold separately) lets you wall mount the Solo 5 soundbar speaker under or above your flat-panel TV.
Auto On/Off: You can set the soundbar to power on whenever a sound signal is received. The Solo 5 soundbar speaker will also automatically power off after one hour if no audio signal is present.
