Power your music
Power your music
MB Quart's Reference Series RA1-710.5 five-channel amplifier will send 50 watts RMS to each of your front and rear speakers, and up to 350 watts RMS to a subwoofer, making sure you hear and feel your music over road and engine noise. Designed to power high-quality aftermarket drivers, like their Reference Series speakers and subwoofers, this Class D amplifier utilizes MB Quart's unique Q-Stasis (Class SQ) circuitry to improve the accuracy and clarity of your music while giving it the oomph it needs for solid bass.
Versatile features
Remote bass knob included
The amplifier's features include speaker-level inputs with signal-sensing amp turn-on, so it's ready to work in almost any system. High-pass filters shape the signal to fit your full-range speakers for their best-sounding output. A low-pass filter, subsonic filter, and a bass boost EQ on the subwoofer channel help dial in just the right amount of bass bump. A remote bass knob is included so you can control your subwoofer's level from the front seat.

Features
Overview: The RA1-710.5 5-channel amplifier is effectively two full range 2-channel amps (labeled channels 1/2 and 3/4) and a subwoofer amp (labeled channel 5) built into one chassis.
Power Output:
- Full Range Channels:
- 4Ω: 50 watts x 4
- 2Ω: 100 watts x 4
- Subwoofer Channel:
- 4Ω: 150 watts x 1
- 2Ω: 150 watts x 1
- 1Ω: 350 watts x 1 (only the subwoofer channel is 1Ω stable)
Control Panel: The control panel is protected by a cover to prevent unwanted adjustments. The cover screws are removed with the included 2mm Allen wrench. The rotary controls and recessed slide switches require the use of a narrow flat blade screwdriver (not included) to make adjustments. Each section of the amplifier has independent gain and crossover controls.
- Input Mode: 3-position switch; 2-channel (all five output channels fed using just the channel 1/2 inputs), 4-channel (discrete inputs for channels 1/2 and 3/4, subwoofer channel fed by the sum of those four), 5-channel (discrete inputs used for all five output channels)
- Turn-on Mode: 2-position switch; Remote (turns on when triggered by +12 volts DC on remote terminal), DC Sense (turns on/off with the presence of a speaker level input)
- Gain: three rotary controls; variable from 200mV to 9V
- Crossover:
- Full Range Channels:
- X-Over: 2-position switches; high-pass or full-range
- Frequency: rotary controls; variable 50-250 Hz

- Speaker Outputs: five pair of set-screw terminals; accept up to 12-gauge speaker wire
- Power/Ground: set-screw terminals; accept up to 4-gauge wire; MB Quart recommends 4-gauge power and ground wire, and using an 80-amp in-line fuse (there is no fuse on the amplifier chassis)
- Remote Turn-on: set-screw terminal; accepts up to 12-gauge wire
- Remote Level Control: RJ-45 socket; connect to the included wired remote level control (adjusts subwoofer channel only)
Wired Remote: A remote level control is included that allows you to adjust the output level of the subwoofer amp from the driver's seat. A 16' remote cable is included.
