For a radio at this price it gives you many nice features like bluetooth and extra ports to import your music. That was what I needed it for in this particular application. If you are looking for a high powered, crystal clear unit, this may not be your first choice, but if you are looking for a very economical unit to replace the stock unit in your vehicle without a particular change of speakers or sizable investment, this radio is perfect.
Pros: Great features for the price over stock radio
Cons: Less expensive unit has limited options

This unit has good sound and features, but I docked it for not having separate subwoofer controls, and it isn't the easiest for scrolling through the settings options. The built-in microphone for hands free calling works great.
Pros: Plays CDs, has aux inputs and Bluetooth
Cons: No subwoofer controls

I'm going to return the product back to Crutchfield. After putting the unit into my dash the CD player wouldn't work. I called "Boss" company and spoke with tech support, he suggested getting a pin or a paper clip and try to reset the unit, which I did. After trying to reset the unit "which it didn't work" he suggested to return it to Crutchfield. I called Crutchfield and spoke to tech support and after researching he suggested for me to return the unit.
Pros:
Cons: The CD would not work.

The radio functions well, though I find that the radio stations don't come in as well as with the stock radio. Also, this one does not allow me to use my steering wheel controllers. It plays CDs very well. Bluetooth audio is low and I have to crank it up even with Loudness on. Otherwise, I like the device and would purchase it again.

Disfuctional
Michael from Newnan, GA on 12/23/2020
2010 Toyota Tacoma
Not very compaitiable with 2010 Toyota tacoma. Steering wheel controls will not work with it. And, the Metra dash kit 95-8214tg is not very good fit with it either. You have to use factory side brackets and the face cover that comes with kit has no where to connect when using factory side brakets. Pick another stereo if your installing in same application maybe you will have a better scenario. Radio actually produces good sound better than factory radio.
Pros: Produces great sound, has good reception from antenna.
Cons: Not compaitable with my steering wheel controls. At least with wirimg harness kit provided. Dash kit does not fit great either. The trim piece you see in picture will pop off with a good bump in the road.

Eh. It was only this much.
Tevin from Charlestown, MA on 8/24/2020
2000 Honda Civic
Granted it's not a $300 head unit, I'm just not impressed. Underpowered, the microphone picks up absolutely everything (I'm in a built K-Swapped Civic Hatchback... There are plenty of sounds), had to re-pin a few of the spots on the Ready Wire harness as well which was kind of aggravating considering I paid the extra money to avoid that whole process, but it is what it is. I'll keep it until I drop the dollars on an actual full system, but I'll probably junk it shortly thereafter.
Pros: Price
Cons: Just about everything else. It's cheap. You get what you pay for though.

Nice unit, hands free operation via Blue Tooth for the phone, internal microphone on unit is sensitive enough to accomodate all calls. Installation was good except the plastic mounting bracket when lined up with the mountig screws to the unit, the face plate would not stay in place. When installed into the Tacoma the face plate is held in place by the dash cover piece and is stable and doesn't move. The only thing I wish this had was a way to shut off the unit or put it in standby, displaying just the clock and the ability to rcv/make calls w/o having the radio on. I am a Crutchfield Fan, this is my 4th unit purchased (all different) for four different cars/trucks. installation / removal instructions and tech expert access is great!
Pros: Easy Installation
Cons: No standby mode on unit, has to be on playing music or aux, or BT mode to rcv calls or work hands free calling.

The good points: Sounds is fine Bluetooth is nice Install was easy and it looks good The so-so points Does not show the time all the time along with the station The knob could be a little more notchy for more control when adjusting volume, etc The bad The fm reception is not up to par. The GM stock unit would receive all the stations in the Columbus area very well. This unit does not. Some stations that never had an issue come in and out a lot. I tried both dx and local and both were the same. Since fm radio is not exactly a new technology you would think it would be the most solid part of the unit. Good thing it is in the wife's car and the one or two stations she listens to come in okay(ish). If the fm was better it would probably be a 4 star review.

I have a 2004 GMC Envoy with 212K miles on it. This stereo was the perfect upgrade from my stock radio. A word to the wise, spend the extra $$ and have them wire the harness for you, it is well worth the money. Installation was so easy it is literally fool proof. All I had to do was remove the panel, unplug the other radio and plug in my new one and it fit right in place with no struggle at all. Too easy, I couldn't be happier with this purchase, the sound is crisp and clear and all the radio stations come in perfectly, calls are clear and there's no trouble hearing for either party. I love this radio and for the price you can't beat it, would recommend if you are looking for a less expensive upgrade to your stock radio. The only thing I would say I wish were different is that you could set the clock to show at all times, other than that, perfect ??
Pros: Crisp clear sound, easy installation, retains door chimes, aesthetically pleasing
Cons: Can't set clock to show at all times

Great for the money
Erik from Batavia, IL on 2/20/2019

I am super pleased with this CD/bluetooth radio for my '02 Honda Accord! In my opinion it functions better than other higher-end receivers and OEM radios especially with the bluetooth connection. It immediately connects, no issue, everytime! I know other reviews stated a problem with this receiver in that it requires a button to display the clock. To me this is awesome since 5 inches above I have the Honda clock and it is such a pain to keep both in sync so I am glad this radio does not display clock by default and just displays current audio info. I really like the availability of all the color LED options. The auto cycling mode is kinda gimmicky. Maybe if it changed to the beat but as it is it just cycles every 3 seconds. The display is large, crisp and easy to read. All settings are toggled with the large rounder knob. My only gripe is it does not support car illumination wire so the unit has only a single light option (always on) and does not dim when the car headlights are on. One installation issue I had is with the bracket for the honda accord dash - I had to file the corners a bit since they were slightly rounded with the bracket but the unit needs straight corners. Not an issue with the Boss unit, just the adapter bracket.
Pros: Easy to read Quick settings change Adjustable light colors
Cons: Does not support car illuminated option (light always on)

The radio was a "breeze" to install in part for the extra cost of prewiring the harness. I found however it difficult to match up the brackets from the old radio and the brackets that came with it were unusable, but it all worked out. One suggestion I would make for people like me that don't do much of this, put a reminder somewhere to plug the antenna back in before installing, as I did not and had to do it twice. Nice product, have not read all about what it can do.
Pros: Good Price, easy installation, USB port on outside, remote.
Cons: none that I know of.

Overall a great experience..the receiver fit right in and is much better than the factory brand at a great price. Recently I installed a new receiver from a big box store installation took me over an hour not including the speakers. With this unit , following the master sheet(and using the pre-wired harness) took me less than 30 minutes. I will always buy from Crutchfield from now on.
Pros: Everything
Cons: None at all

More problems than it's worth
Robert from Marble Falls, TX on 11/25/2018
2008 Ford F-150
For some reason, the unit loses power a lot, so everything has to be reset again. I checked my connections, and they are not the problem. It is impossible to see during the daytime, even on white. And when it loses power, it flashes the different colors until I choose one and stop it. I can't say anything about the clock or radio, since I don't use either one due to getting tired of having to reset both quite frequently. However it does have decent sound on CD with the factory speakers, and the Bluetooth appears to work satisfactorily. Since it is past the time where it can be returned, I expect I'll have to find another unit, and put this one in the trash.
Pros: Decent CD and Bluetooth
Cons: Constantly loses power, so everything has to be reset over, and over.

Good for music bad for phone
Crutchfield customer from Commack, NY on 11/24/2018
2004 Ford Explorer
I would love to give this more stars because on the surface it's a great radio that sounds amazing. Bluetooth, cds, and the radio all sound flawless. Two things, one minor.... can't toggle it to show the clock as default. So it just says A2DP when streaming Bluetooth. That's minor. The major issue is that I got this one because of the built in mic so I can use it for hands free calling.... it sounds like I'm driving in a tunnel, underwater, with a mouthful of gravel whenever I take a call. The mic picks up every ounce of background noise along with me speaking so it's hard to understand. If hands free is a minor concern of yours then get this radio! Also got the prewired assembly option so install took 20 min. That add on is worth it!
Pros:
Cons: Phone really bad

Not happy with radio
Mic from Wadley AL on 11/17/2018

Every time we hit a bump in the road the system would go out. I will assume that it was my fault in the instillation. The clock had to be reset every time we started the car. We had to reset the color many many times. Almost no AM signal. When driving through a big city receive an AM signal for about 10 minutes. FM signal seemed to be ok. Thank you to Crutchfield for the refund and offer to exchange which we took. New radio seems to work fine except the original Ford radio got much better AM signal.
Pros: Had good sound
Cons: Many problems after instillation

FM is the only decent part of this unit. Lighting intensity is not adjustable ( have to manually change color for night driving, red, cyan etc.), CD sound is poor, Clock is an afterthought by pushing a button, highlights then disappears. The manual is very poorly written and thought out. Pay attention when wiring because the wiring diagram fails to denote colors and you need to look at the plugs from the backside. As far as the radio goes, it's fine for my 16 year old Toyota but the volume detentes aren't sensitive. I end up either having the sound a little too low on #6 or HAVE IT BLASTING AT ME on #7. Overall, the Boss 660BRGB is proof to the old adage, "You get what you pay for." As always, Crutchfield's support documents get 5+ stars; always super easy installing.

Sound quality is good. Bluetooth audio works great. The audio quality when talking on the phone is pretty bad. When the car is not moving it's fine, but soon as the person starts driving all you hear is road noise even when driving in residential areas. You still hear the person talking tho. I'm sure it does not have noise cancellation. For this price point what do you expect tho. Also they could've gone with a little less accent lighting. Red and purple were the best colors to use. All other colors were pretty bright especially at night-time driving.
Pros: -Good audio quality. -Great price.
Cons: -Phone conversations are bad. -A little too much accent lighting.

This junk unit needs to be discontinued...
James L from Carlsbad, NM on 5/3/2018
2003 Dodge Ram 3500
Really disappointed with this unit... and highly recommend Crutchfield discontinue this model. I bought the first one in January 18 and used the Crutchfield supplied wiring plug-ins to connect. Within a week all the memory functions failed and would not hold clock or volume or last song or screen color or anything. Crutchfield support was great and recommended I hard wire power directly to the battery and splice into the OEM speaker wires. All was fine for about two weeks then again total memory failure. Another call to the very understanding tech support, and they agreed it has to be a bad unit, so they t sent me a free replacement with trade back of failed unit. The second one worked perfectly for about a month, then bammm... exact the same thing... plus it keeps dialing my phone even when not paired and Bluetooth turned off. I tried the deck reset button on the front, and re-programming it numerous times, but this thing is possessed. I am now past the 60 day rule even on the on the second one, so I am contemplating throwing it in the trash and trying a better brand... the frustration is so aggravating real stress... :(
Pros: When working it sounds great and has nice features
Cons: Deletes and fails to hold memory for clock, presets, restart volume level, song position, button color choice... and also dials my phone with phantom calls even when unpaired and Bluetooth turned off

Kevin from Hartford City, IN on 4/3/2018

Sound is great and the wattage is great. But why on earth would you make a radio and not include a dimmer so you can use it at night without being blinded? Or let the clock stay on the display for more than 3 seconds each time you push the button. Either of which wouldn't be to expensive to implement. Now I can't use it at night and I have to take my eyes off the road and hands off the wheel if I want to know what time it is rather than just a quick glance. But, hey, at least we have that remote which has got to be one of the most useless things for a car radio since I don't know of any radios installed outside the reach of the driver.

radio worked ok except I could not get any AM stations to come in. This was for my wife's van and she listens to AM stations most of the time so did not work for her. Tech support tried to help but none of the ideas work so the suggested to buy a signal booster which may not work. Since I have to pay shipping to return a radio that did not work correctly I decided to return it and cut my losses and not buy more stuff that may not help and then have to pay more to return that as well. That is also why I will not be getting anything else from Crutchfield so I don't have to be out shipping if anything will not work as well.

Falling apart
Daryn from Jackson, TN on 1/5/2018
2008 Ford Taurus
This double-din dash started out as a great asset to my vehicle, but now it has become somewhat of an annoyance. I bought this back in September, so about 4 months ago. Since then, the Bluetooth for voice calling has never really worked and whenever I don't want to use Bluetooth i'm still forced to manually switch over every time i call someone. The face plate has started to come completely off, the screen itself is has been faded out of the box and from what I understand it is made that way so unless it's dark then you can barely see what you're doing on the dash. A few weeks ago the digital letters and numbers on the screen are now not showing up all the way. It's like trying to read an old calculator. For the price I paid, I wish I would have bought something else and realized before the 60 day warranty expired.
Pros: Bluetooth music Bright display at night Fits perfectly in the aftermarket dash kit inside the car
Cons: Faded display from factory Starts to break down after a few months of use Bluetooth voice is useless and doesn't work

Fantastic product! This radio / cd / bluetooth device was so easy to install on our 2000 Toyota Camry it took less than 45 minutes! I ordered the ReadyHarness which connected directly to the stock connectors from the wiring harness in the car and the back of the radio. No cutting and splicing needed! It is a really nice upgrade and Christmas gift for my wife since the car had the stock radio / cd / cassette player. We went out and made and received a couple of phone calls with her bluetooth cell phone and it worked great! I also played one of my favorite podcasts from my iPod Touch and it sounded awesome. The stereo sounds great on just the stock speakers that came with the car.
Pros: Hands free bluetooth with a microphone built into the radio. One button to answer a call and another one to hang up. No microphone wiring needed. Fit perfectly without modifications and the ReadyHarness made it easy to connect. Sounds a lot better than the stock radio.
Cons: Don't care for the cheesy flashing lights around the device. Haven't determined if I can disable this yet.

Alex from Redmond, OR on 11/4/2017
Really nice radio, picks up FM and AM radio just fine, will charge from the USB on the face of the radio, easy installation, has an AUX cord right in the front, all in all great radio. The only problem I have with it is that the color will not stay the same. It frequently switches from whatever color you're set to, to cyan. The only color it doesn't do this on is purple, but even then the shade of purple changes, but it less noticable. Other than that it's a great radio, but I really can't give it more than 3 stars because the color was a really big reason I choose this radio

I had to return the unit because of background noise whenever the blue tooth was paired. If the USB connection allowed for a signal connection I might have been able to use it but the USB is for power only. The stock Ford Explorer unit I was replacing had a frequency bypass built in for the factory sub woofer. The Boss unit didn't have any functionality to allow only low frequency bypass to the sub so the sub was trying to perform like a fifth speaker, not good. Overall I was very disappointed. Later I found a blue tooth FM transmitter that plugs into the cig plug that pairs to my iPhone and transmits FM to the radio allowing full functionality through the old stock unit with perfect clarity for a small price.

Only issue I have is that the volume knob does not have a smooth rotational feel to it for the complete 360 degrees of its movement. A lot more than I expected for the price. Navigation is easy, love the blue tooth, its a toy so play with it and you'll find a sound you like. I've had this in for a week so I'm still playin. The only issue I had was the remote didn't work at all. Crutchfield promptly sent a new one. summing up ordering, costumer service. support staff and Crutchfield are wonderful to work with. I will do business with them again.
Pros: A little challenging for an old man but not bad.
Cons: Still looking for them.

The radio/receiver works fine. The only complaint I have is that the whole front of the radio should have been covered with protective film, not just the read-out portion. I installed it in a C-5 corvette which required a lot of cutting and grinding to get it to fit. The plastic face scratches very easily.

Good for Price, but when installed to replace the Bose head unit in my 97 Maxima it creates a "buzz" noise behind the music. Not this speakers itself, but the filter on the stereo - meaning the head unit is the problem. Disappointment, returning this product. When searching the compatible stereos on this site, I wish that there was something that enlightened me on the possibility with this issue.

Easy to install for anyone with a little mechanical knowledge. But very poor instructions for wiring. I had to call and get assistance with which wire to connect to which on the power side. Also what to do with the extra wires. Staff was very good and knowledgeable. They answered my questions easily and quickly. The rest assembled and installed easily and as instructed.
Pros: No issues as of yet. Everything I expected. Blue tooth is even better than I expected and that was the biggest reason I changed the radio.

Nice radio
Cody from Brookhaven,ms on 7/5/2017
2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
The radio overall has been great. Twice he price it was on another website but that's neither here nor there. The Bluetooth has an issue if you receive a call and turn radio off while it's ringing to answer on your phone. Then it locks into the call even if it's over. All buttons lock up and the only way to fix it was to kill the power. A simple toggle switch for main power fixed it but still inconvenient.
Pros: The radio fit nicely and the color options are nice. The price wasn't bad either. Install was a breeze
Cons: If you don't utilize the mic then if you get a call while listening to music via Bluetooth it will totally lock up the radio if you unplug if you answer it and disconnect to talk on the receiver. The only way to fix it is to cut the power from the ignition supply. No buttons will work. Other than that it's fine so far

Stereo itself Is very nice for the money. Sounds great and looks great too! My problem is Crutchfield could not be more incorrect about the fit of this receiver. I have a 2010 Chrysler town and country. I had to bend the metal chassis that supported the original stereo for this Boss unit to fit correctly and even after that I had to issue a lot of pressure to get the stereo in the hole. The additional mounting kit supplied did not fit the stereo either. I had to drill new holes or file existing ones for them to attach to the receiver. Also Crutchfield's supplied installation instructions are a joke. Luckily I'm not a novice at installing car stereos and was able to work my way thru the frustration.

2007 Toyota Corolla
I purchased a Boss 660BRGB car receiver for my 2007 Toyota Corolla. It's been more than 20 years since I have purchased a car radio for a car. I will pass the Corolla on to my son, so he doesn't have a clue yet. I was pleasantly surprised at the price for this receiver. I've known Boss quality for a long time. Another pleasant surprise was the ease to install the receiver in my car. My 15 year old son did it in less than one hour. The quality of the sound doubled and so did the volume. It is very easy to navigate through the radio settings. The Boss receiver just blew my expectations. On another note, the car receiver I purchased was delivered in a timely manner. The free extra items I received were completely unexpected but well appreciated. Soon after placing the order I received a call from a representative to let me know that the email address I provided was inaccurate. And so it was. I appreciate the detailed service provided to me before, during, and after my purchase. This approach on Crutchfield's part helped me with the decision of purchasing a home theater receiver through them. Kudos to all @ Crutchfield!
Pros: Easy to install. Crisp sound and improve volume.

Don't buy this for your 2000 Lexus!
Peter from Great Barrington, MA on 5/4/2017
2000 Lexus ES300
Bought this unit to go into my 2000 Lexus ES300. It came with the free wiring harness and face plate. I wired the head unit exactly as per instructions included. When the car was turned on the unit produced an annoying hiss through the speakers that was consistent with the engine rpm. I called Crutchfield tech support at least 5 times and they always told me it was a grounding issue. I tried every conceivable combination of grounding between the vehicle's harness grounds, grounding the head unit to the vehicle directly, and even grounding the RCA jacks to the head unit as some had suggested in various posts I read. Nothing fixed the noise and Crutchfield even sent me RCA noise cancel units but still no good. I finally, after many hours, took the unit out and put the factory radio back in the car and through this thing in the trash. Obviously there is some issue between this unit and the vehicle's amp and I'm not sure if other brands would produce the same issue.

I hate to only give this Unit 3 stars, everything about it is great, other than...the red (which matches my interior lights) is pretty much non existent during the day, it's very dim on that color. Also, the call quality for the person youre calling is terrible, very staticky and all of the road noise carries through to the person you're on the phone with. Other than that, the Bluetooth feature works very well! And the sound quality is quite good! If you can get over the fact that the tuner doesn't work very well
Pros: Great sound, Bluetooth, USB
Cons: Terrible call quality for person on the other end, tuner barely works, some colors aren't bright enough for daytime use

This is a follow on review!
Chuck from Marysville, CA on 1/5/2017
1997 Honda CRV
This is a follow on review to my initial impressions. Since my first review, I discovered that the aftermarket antenna that I purchased was junk, so I purchased an OEM antenna from Honda, which significantly improved the reception of the radio portion of the receiver, so I am upping my rating to 3 stars. Also, the Bluetooth hasn't unpaired again and that seems to be OK. One big annoyance I have found with this Unit is that every time you turn it off and then back on again, it defaults to being cranked to maximum volume with whatever input you are using! After the 2nd or 3rd time of being blasted out of your seat it gets annoying. I wish the volume would stay at whatever level you left it at previously. The only workaround id to QUICKLY turn it down as soon as power is applied to it. The unit does have plenty of power, but as I stated before it has a muddy sound. Also, I am in no way dissatisfied with Crutchfield or their service. My review wasn't meant as a slight to them. Since I feel that it was in the whole worth the money. I am not going to return it for now. With 274k miles on the vehicle I didn't want to invest a lot in the stereo!

Very good value for the money - don't expect too much though
Dave from Keller, TX on 12/22/2016
2005 Scion xB
The good: - the price is hard to beat, I installed this in a 2005 Scion XB with 150k miles on it so I wasn't looking to spend much money. For the price paid this is a good value - Accepts both USB and micro SD cards which is the main reason I purchased this unit - Sound quality is fairly decent Things that could be better: - I don't know that I'd call it a design flaw or just something you have to adapt to but there appears to be a limit in how many MP3 files you can put in a folder before the thing just goes haywire. I listen to a lot of music and a lot of different kinds so I created folders for each genre of music and dumped anywhere from 200 to 600 files in them. This receiver does not like that - it would just shut down or get stuck on a track and then restart. I divided my music into more folders (nothing more than 200 tracks) and have not had a problem since. - Radio reception is poor - stations I could pull in with the stock radio are nothing but static now - Installation, while not difficult, is not as easy as advertised. First, you have to grind parts of the factory brackets away - no problem if you have a dremel tool, secondly the trim kit supplied would not fit into the opening on the dash - no problem if you have a bench top sander (sand the inner edges) - Random play mode isn't saved when you turn the vehicle off, and random doesn't really seem all that random As always the support from Crutchfield was great. If I had to
Pros: - Price - Flexibility to play from multiple sources - Sound quality (considering the price) - Color selection is decent - Easy to use (haven't tried Blue Tooth yet) - Wiring harness was easy to figure out
Cons: - File management isn't great - Radio reception is poor (lots of presets but that doesn't help when you can't pick up many stations) and this is in the DFW area so it's not like there's a lack of stations available - Installation has some issues (you'll need more than a screwdriver and a crimping tool) - limited EQ settings (but what do you expect for the price?) - Seeems you can only play random for all tracks, can't select a specific folder - at least not that I've figured out yet

Great radio for the price, but when testing call volume I'm told I sound far away and a little tinny. I'm attesting this to the unit having a built in mic instead of external mic. Pros: Good sound Bluetooth connectivity Value
Cons: No external mic

Should have invested in a name brand receiver
Chuck from Marysville, CA on 12/19/2016
1997 Honda CRV
First off, let me say that for the price point, you're getting what you pay for here. My biggest disappointment about it is the muddy sound. I tried every adjustment and sound type, and I still can't get a really clear and crisp sound out of it. I even blamed the speakers and bought a pair of new Kenwoods for the front, but the sound is still a little disappointing. It can get loud, but it lacks punch. Also , a huge disappointment was that there is literally zero radio reception. This thing must have the weakest receiver I've ever encountered. The main reason I replaced the stock unit was the complete lack of radio reception, but this is even worse! I bought a brand new antenna and cable, so it can't be that. It is too much to expect getting all of this bang for this price I guess. Now onto the Bluetooth. So far I've only had to re-pair it once, so hopefully that doesn't become an issue as other reviewer(s) alluded to. The few phone calls I've placed have worked, but the party on the other end complained of hearing an echo in their voice, at one point they just hung up on me since it was so annoying! to them! Since it gets no radio reception at all, I've been forced to stream AM stations over my phone through Bluetooth, and that is the saving grace here; I really enjoy getting the streaming radio without all of the static of over the air radio! In short, I should have been willing to cough up a little more for a name brand receiver, but this vehicle is my commuter.
Pros: Bluetooth is great for streaming radio and audio for phone.
Cons: Poor quality sound, zero radio reception.

Seems like a decent stereo, especially for the price. Wish it had the ability to make the clock be primary view, since the old stereo did that. It has multiple color lights available, but none match the Ford. Also, there is no way to dim the stereo lights either. The install kit didn't quite fit the stereo, so I couldn't use it. The wiring kit worked fine. All in all, for 79$ and free shipping, I'm satisfied.
Pros: good price
Cons: some basic features could be introduced, like dimming, and clock being primary on the face when not switching channels.

When it wouldnt come on I called the tech support line and the guy I talked to walked me thru the setup and was even able to tell me what fuse number was possibly blown(it Was) and it worked fine after that. So glad I found out about these guys.
Pros: Works exactly as advertised
Cons: none

The Boss 660BRGB is overall pretty good. The instructions were a little mistranslated here and there but they were overall legible. Everything advertised works including the CD player, Bluetooth capabilities, USB and SD card slots, etc... The microphone sounds decent although I cannot personally confirm that since I was the one in the car using it. I'l give it a perfect 5/7.

Great product for the price. A lot of options in a small package. Understand, with minimal cost comes minimal power, so don't expect to enter competitions with this head unit.

Good value for the money. I would expect better If I had paid twice as much. A no-brainer for replacing a tired factory cdplayer for cheap. Simple install- I connected directly to infinity door speakers with factory wiring. The amp section doesn't have as much oomph as the factory unit, but having tried several different big-name receivers over the years that seems the norm. The spindly wires, power and speaker leads are unimpressive. On the plus side, there are lots of rca outs- I think it would be a great entry level dash unit for a basic system with 5 or 6 channels of amplifier(s). usb/ micro sd card slot is handy. I have a 64gb formated to fat32 and it plays most everything. Sound on CDs is great; most MP3s sound a little lifeless -I Can't tell if the flat EQ is from my files or the headunit. there is a quick EQ preset change button. The interface to navigate folders sucks but works tolerably once you figure it out. Bluetooth connects flawlessly- though the other end did complain about not hearing well from the mic on the face of the receiver.
Pros: basic functionality, lots of rca outs , clean sound, nice colors
Cons: BT mic maybe needs improvement... File navigation system lacking, not much power

Music sound is good. Phone sound is not so good, both incoming & outgoing. What I expected for the price. One thing that does irritate me is there does not seem to be a way to have the time displayed as default; there's no instruction in the manual nor have I been able to figure it out myself. To view the time you have to press the clock button, and after a few seconds it reverts back to channel info. I've never had a car radio that you can't keep the time displayed. If that could be corrected I'd rate another star.

Works flawlessly, BT connectivity no problem. Sound quality better than stock with stock speakers.
Pros: BT, coolness factor, multi color display
Cons: Have to push button to display clock. No brightness setting on lights...red works best at night, Cyan best for daytime.

Nice unit that is working well for me. Some of the buttons are confusing as to what they do, but after messing with it you can figure it out. Also the buttons around the dial do click it's not touchscreen buttons. Also cds don't display track/album/artist name. Not a deal breaker but it would be a nice feature. Only other issue is that some of the color options for the screen make it hard to read the display in sunlight. The Bluetooth works well and the mic for calls works well too. Overall for the price I think it is well worth it.

Great little unit! Very easy to install in my daughter's Toyota Camry. Excellent sound and clarity. I bought this unit mainly for the blue tooth capability and also the price. The only thing I can say that I was a little disappointed about this unit is that when you are conversing with someone via blue tooth, the person on the other end complains about hearing you like your ten foot from the microphone.
Pros: Easy installation, great sound, a lot of "bang for your buck"
Cons: Microphone for blue tooth usage could be a little better.

First off the remote did not work. Second the blutooth will not stay connected. Sound is better than the factory radio. I guess you get what you pay for.
Pros: good sound
Cons: blutooth will not stay connected. remote don't work.
