About the Metra 70-7307 Receiver Wiring Harness
This vehicle-specific wiring harness makes connections between your new car stereo and your car's electrical system. The harness allows you to connect the new stereo, providing connections for power and for four speakers.
- It supplies the outputs (parking brake, reverse, speed sense) you'll need to connect a navigation-equipped receiver.
- You can retain the factory backup camera in your Hyundai or Kia if you're installing a new receiver with a rear composite video input.
- You can retain your vehicle's Aux input and USB port if you install a car stereo with rear Aux and USB inputs.
This harness also plugs into the ASWC-1 steering wheel control harness (sold separately), making it easier to retain your steering wheel audio controls.
First, attach the color-coded wires on your Crutchfield-supplied harness to the wires from your new stereo. If you're not using a soldering iron, we recommend that you purchase some wire connectors to secure the connections.
Now, once this harness is connected to your new stereo, you'll be able to plug right into your car's factory radio connector. This harness makes installing your new stereo easier, and allows you to put the factory radio back when you sell your vehicle or return it at the end of the lease. A detailed instruction sheet comes with the harness. Warranty: 1 year.

Metra 70-7307 Receiver Wiring Harness reviews
USB connector on this new harness is not compatible with 2018 Kia Soul when used with a Pioneer stereo and Apple phone USB connection. Shows "Not Connected error" and cycles the charging to the phone on and off continuously. Had to run included cable with stereo under dash trim temporarily until I can tap into the actual USB jack on lower dash.
Pros: Easy hook-up and easy wire tapping for all connections.
Cons: USB connection not compatible with Apple phone connection.

Vehicle Compatibility: This wiring harness is compatible with select 2017-up Hyundai & Kia vehicles (with factory equipped Base "non-touchscreen radio).
Factory Aux & USB Retention: Male stereo RCA connectors and a male USB-A connector within the wiring harness lets you retain your vehicle's factory Aux input and USB port. The male stereo RCA connectors will plug into your aftermarket radio's rear-panel Aux input (a minijack-to-RCA adapter may be required and sold separately). The USB connector plugs into your aftermarket receiver's rear-panel USB (type-A) port.
Retains Factory Backup Camera: A male composite video connector within the wiring harness lets you retain your vehicle's factory backup camera. The composite video connector plugs into your aftermarket head unit's composite video camera input to allow video from your vehicle's factory backup camera to display on the aftermarket head unit's LCD screen.
Navigation Outputs: The wiring harness provides navigation outputs (including Parking Brake, Reverse, and Speed Sense) making installation of an aftermarket navigation receiver simpler and less time consuming.
