Note: Some aftermarket speakers have terminals that are wider than this harness's slide-on connectors. You may need to widen the harness's female slide-on connectors, or use the slide terminals that may be included with the speakers. If you need to connect your new speaker's connectors to the Crutchfield harness, soldering is best, and crimping is also very popular — see "Accessories."

Product Research

Features

Metra Speaker Harness: Metra speaker harnesses prevent you from having to cut your vehicle's factory speaker plugs when replacing your factory speakers with aftermarket car speakers. The Metra speaker harness features two female quick-slide connectors on one end to attach directly to your new aftermarket car speakers & a proprietary Molex connector on the other end that connects to your vehicle's factory speaker plug.

Quick-Slide Connectors: The Metra speaker harness is equipped with a large (positive) & small (negative) female quick-slide terminal. These quick-slide terminals fit directly onto most aftermarket car stereo speaker terminals (slight crimping may be required). In rare cases that the quick-slide terminals do not fit your car speaker terminals, you will need to solder the Metra speaker harness to your aftermarket speaker's terminals or replace the quick-slide connectors on the Metra speaker harness with the correct size terminal.

Note: Installation tools, hardware, & accessories are not included & sold separately. Please see the Accessories tab for recommendations & availability.

Quick-Slide Terminal Measurements: The positive female quick-slide terminal measures 0.205" (inner width), while the negative female quick-slide terminal measures 0.115" (inner width).

Wire Code Chart: Two identical Metra speaker harnesses are included.

Q
Will this work on a 2013 Nissan Altima Sedan with Bose without navigation?

Greetings Ryan, and thank you for checking. Those are the recommended speaker wire adapters for front, rear doors, as well as the rear deck speakers.

Q
Received these for a 2023 Nissan Rogue S, and the black wire from the speaker ends up mating with the white wire from the vehicle, and the white wire from the speaker mates to the green wire from the vehicle. I believe this is reverse polarity, but couldn't figure out how to repin these. Tips?

A
I would be happy to help, Christopher. In our information for the 23 Rouge with 4-speakers the vehicle wiring is red+ and green-. If the speakers sound great with the other 2 speakers in the car, I'd say leave the harness as-is as I agree removing and replacing the pins is difficult without the correct tools. If you are certain the polarity is reversed, you can use these Posi-connectors in the link below to cut/splice and reverse the wires in the Metra 72-7401 speaker harness. We are always here to help with Lifetime Technical support with any order, so don't hesitate to call us if you need help! https://www.crutchfield.com/p_669PP500/Posi-Products-Car-Stereo-Wiring-Harness-Connectors.html

You can check to see if this will fit your vehicle by using our Outfit My Car tool: http://www.crutchfield.com/car/carselector.aspx For additional details on fit or installation please contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and give you the details on if this will fit and what you will need for an installation in your vehicle.

Q
I know these work for the door speakers, but would these also work for the dash tweeters of a 2017 Rogue?
tim  May 17, 2018
1 answer
A
Unfortunately not--according to our vehicle research for the 2017 Nissan Rogue, there is no harness available for the factory tweeters in the dash. For more details or to discuss further please contact an Advisor directly by phone (888.955.6000) or online chat.

If you're installing aftermarket speakers, you can use female quick slides to connect the remaining factory leads to the terminals of the new speakers: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_120FQS10PK/item.html If you're trying to re-install the original factory speakers, you may be able to get the replacement factory plugs directly from Nissan.
