Features

Vehicle Compatibility: The Axxess Integrate XSVI-9006-NAV radio replacement interface module allows you to replace the factory radio in select 2015-up Volkswagen vehicles with an aftermarket head unit:

Make Model Year
Volkswagen Beetle 2016-2019
Golf 2015-up
Jetta 2016-2018
Jetta GLI 2016-2018
Passat 2016-up
Tiguan 2016-2017

Amplified or Non-Amplified System Integration: The XSVI-9006-NAV interface supports non-amplified factor systems. You can also use it it amplified system, if you are planning to bypass the factory amplifier.

Retains Factory Backup Camera: The Axxess Integrate XSVI-9006-NAV radio replacement interface module provides a male composite video jack that plugs into the composite video camera input of your new aftemarket head unit, allowing you to retain your vehicle's factory backup camera.

+12V/10A Accessory Output: There is no 12-volt accessory wire in the factory harness, which requires the installer to run an accessory wire to the fuse box or underneath the steering column when installing an aftermarket radio. The XSVI-9006-NAV is designed to provide a 12-volt, 10-amp switched accessory output (red wire).

Navigation Outputs: The XSVI-9006-NAV provides essential wires required for aftermarket radios that have navigation. VSS (Vehicle Speed Sense), Reverse, and Parking Brake wires are provided. This helps to cut down the installation time, since the installer does not have to look for these wires in the vehicle.

Retained Accessory Power (R.A.P.): The Retained Accessory Power (R.A.P.) function supplies power to the radio after the ignition is shut off until one of the front doors are opened. This function is retained by the XSVI-9006-NAV interface.

OEM Steering Wheel Control Compatible (optional): The XSVI-9006-NAV interface features a right-angle 3.5mm connector that lets you keep your vehicle's OEM steering wheel controls via the optional Axxess Steering Wheel Control Interface (120ASWC1, sold separately).

Q
What gauge are the wires on this part?
jill  Dec 02, 2023
1 answer
A
The exact wire gauge is not listed in the specifications, Jill. The Axxess SXVI-9006-NAV interface should have roughly an 18-gauge wire size, matching the size on most aftermarket radios. I hope this helps!

How tmdo i make steering wheel controls work?
nathan  Oct 16, 2022

A
That adapter would not keep the steering wheel controls working on their own. You would need to use the ASWC-1 adapter with it which I will link down below. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_120ASWC1/Axxess-ASWC-1-Steering-Wheel-Control-Adapter.html?tp=3405

Yes, this interface, if installed and programmed correctly, (you can call metra support if needed they are great) works like a gem. Retains factory backup camera with guides and allows for the Axxess ASCW-1 to be installed with the same harness. Haven't had any problems in my '17 VW Jetta S
