Q
If this new dash panel allows for a double din installation, is there a bolt in dash kit that will allow installation of a single din head unit and a small parametric equalizer ?

For additional details on fit or installation please contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and give you the details on what fits and what you will need for an installation in your vehicle.

I was wondering my dodge has the Fancy looking plastic that looks like wood does this come with the skins to keep that look or just black?

no, just the black trim but you can buy vinyl to wrap it in.

I only see black available. MetraOnline is their website and if you do a search for your make/model, they also do not list a wood grain model.

Just black.

What size double din radio fits this product?

Any of them will. I put an alpine double din in and with a few modifications inside the dash it fit luminescent a glove.

From my limited understanding, "Double Din" is the size, meaning as long as it is a "Double Din" radio, the size is the same. Single-Din, Din-and-a-half (stock on my Dodge Ram 2500), and Double-Din radios are like saying Size 12, 14, and 16. To quote Wikipedia: "The US standard for a DIN radio is 2" x 7" (although the actual 180 mm width converts to something like 7-3/32" so most people use 7-1/8" to allow for clearance) and the Double DIN sized radio is a 4" x 7"..." I used an Alpine ICS-X7HD which fit perfectly in my 2004 Ram. It requires some cutting of the plastic inside the dash which was easy enough to do but the radio fit the kit perfectly. ICS-X7HD Dimensions Din Size: 2-DIN Chassis Size (W x H x D) mm: 178 x 100 x 159 mm Chassis Size (W x H x D) in: 7?? x 3-7/8?? x 6-1/4??

Double din is a standard size they will all fit. If it is a Dodge Ram you will have to modify the dash of the truck to allow it to fit. It is a very easy mod to do.

I have a Kenwood DDX 470 and it fit perfectly. My guess would be any standard "double din" receiver. Takes a bit of modifying on the vehicle to fit but well worth the end result.hope this helps.

Standard, 7 in screen
