No a easy hook up!

I had to modify this kit to get it to work with my pioneer 6.5 inch dvd receiver. I had to trim off all the inside window plastic and buy longer screws to get the brackets to line up with any holes on the receiver took me over a hour to get it to work and another $10 in parts not a easy dash kit hook up.

Fits flush into dash! Nothing loose, no rattling, nor does it require/force you to customize or retrofit. Final look: Looks as if it came stock off the lot! Looks amazing. 5 of 5 For Sure!
Pros: Simple. Fast. Sits flush. Color matches up. If you have a double din stereo then this is what u need!
Cons: I have not one negative thing to say about this item. I tried to think of one & all I could come up with was, wish I had the item the exact moment I clicked purchase.

These are so poorly constructed compared to the Scosche dash adapters I've used previously in other vehicles. The black (I think ABS) plastic is molded rather thin & for whatever reason painted with black paint. Why? This is just going to chip off & look terrible like I've seen in other vehicles. The plastic standoffs cracked & crumbled apart when inserting the screws with just fingertip pressure. I would have returned this but I think it's my only option for a '15 Mirage aside from making my own. If you can find something else or are able to 3D print your own I'd say go for it, you'll probably do better than this. As much as I don't like the appearance, feel or overall quality it does manage to hold my 7" touchscreen in place after using some CA glue to attach my own threaded metal inserts to mount it to. It will do but I'm not happy with it.

Though the brackets were plastic, things fit together nicely. We had to shave off just a hair to make the face line up perfectly. It would have been okay without the mod, but I'm a perfectionist.
Pros: Texture matched will. Good fit.
Cons: Had to modify for a perfect fit.
