Have had it in my car for 5 months. Still looks good. Has a place for my phone. It was easy to install.
Pros: Easy install. Holds up over time. Give a place for phone.
Cons: None

If only there were alternatives...

I've used plenty of stereo mounts in the past. This is by far the absolute worst. I could get over the boring matte finish that doesn't match the interior of the car (loosing the chrome outline as well), but I spent an extra 3 hours trying to get my stereo in straight using the provided brackets. I ended up settling for slightly crooked, as each attempt was pulling out the stereo, moving the screws a little/changing holes, putting it back in, and seeing if it was straight. It looks okay, but I'm very dissatisfied with having to spend so much time to get a poor result. Also, where the vent guides attach, the clips don't line up correctly. Not a huge deal, but further testament to almost nothing being right about the plate. The only thing that fit right was the faceplate itself in the dashboard. If another company releases a new mounting kit I may end up putting the effort in to switch over.
Pros: it "works"
Cons: crooked, ugly, bad fit

Good look, problem to get it there

Even thou the face fit the car nicely, the hardware to attach the radio to the car is not measured well. After two hours and doing all the possible options possible it did not align perfectly or even almost. Had to finish attaching only one screw on each side of the radio because it was the closest to be there and no more holes matched to attach other screw, I think Metra should do more work on this.
Pros: Easy to install the AC ducts and face
Cons: Bad measurement by Metra on the radio bracket.

Crumbiest Dash Kit from Metra
Kristian from Nevada on 4/20/2018

This dash kit is the crumbiest one I've ever seen. I've used Metra dash kits in all my other cars and had no problem but some how this one sneaked past any kind of quality control. The original face plate is a sleek plastic matte black but this face plate is a dull charcoal and feels like cheap rubber. The ac vents barely fit into the back of it because most of the clips weren't long enough and would not clip into them, the few clips that did work did keep the ac vents tight but its just annoying when the others are sticking out and wont clip in all the way. Once I installed it the opening for the head unit was way off center and I had to bent the brackets that it came with to get it to barely fit and it still looks way too far off to the side. The clips on the back of it did not line up either and did not install well at all and most of them were in the way of it sitting flush against the panels around it. I am very disappointed that Metra would make this product.
Pros:
Cons: Looks cheap and does not match original. Opening is way off center for head unit, clips on back do not line up and stop it from installing flush, breaks very easily.
