Q
How can I keep my factory backup camera so I can see it on my new radio ?

Easier to to add a new camera with the new radio. Know stereo shop will take the time to figure out the wiring to use the factory. Meastro kit may be able to do it look it up for your car.

You cannot keep the factory back up camera. If u want a back up camera you will have to install an after market one

My accord didn't have a backup camera so I bought one from crutchfield. Easy to install, only about $30 and works great. The connection is standard video in if I remember correctly so if you have access to that from your camera maybe it can work.

I believe there sould be a plug that ables you to keep your factory plug

Q
By replacing the stock dash with this, do you lose navigation functions like the map buttong and menu button for the cars built in navigation screen located above the stereo dash?

That depends on the head unit. The controls you mention are integrated in the stock head unit, The GPS DVD is not a stand alone unit. In my case I do not use the upper display. I prefer the improved functions and advantages of the newer unit.

That is correct. The only thing that you will retain will be your A/C and climate control functions. I didn't mind since I use google maps or Waze via the Apple Car play.

Yes, the whole navigation control part will be gone. You will only keep the AC controls. This did not matter to me since my navigation unit was dead anyway.

Yes you do. However, I wanted to stop using the stock navigation and install an aftermarket android navigation unit. This is an excellent dash kit. Looks factory finish and works just how i expected. The only think I can think of that gave me a bit of an issue are the temperature buttons which became a bit tight thats all. I love this kit.

If your installing a new radio yes you will lose the top navigation screen. It will be off. Just make sure you get a radio with Apple play or Android and use that for navigation. It really is better than that old screen.
