About the Toyota/Geo Bluetooth® Wiring Harness

 Add Bluetooth® to your vehicle

 Add Bluetooth® to your vehicle

This harness works with a Parrot hands-free Bluetooth kit to connect your compatible phone to your car's factory stereo system. Find the correct harness for your vehicle, then pick one of these Parrot kits: Parrot MKi9200, Parrot MKi9100, Parrot CK3100, or Parrot CK3000. You're on your way to enjoying hands-free calling in your car.

Remove the plug from the back of your factory radio. The Toyota/GeoBluetooth Wiring T-harness plugs into that factory plug, then provides a connection to your factory radio and the Bluetooth kit. Reinstall the factory radio and mount the Bluetooth kit, and you're ready to go. When your cell phone rings, your radio or CD player is muted automatically, and the sound from your phone comes through your front speakers. Warranty: 1 year.

Please enter your vehicle information or call an Advisor at 1-888-955-6000 to find out if this model is compatible with your vehicle.

Toyota/Geo Bluetooth Wiring Harness

Crutchfield customer from Barrigada, Guam on 4/30/2017

This product came in handy. I had to cut the some of the wires but I didn't cut the power leads on the factory harness side and the plug/connectors matched up perfectly. The front door speakers were series/parallel connections to the tweeters, so I ended up eliminating the factory tweeter and used speaker wires that tapped directly to the factory speaker wires behind the kick panel. The wired speaker wires were routed to the Alpine mini amp. I also used the crossover modules and installed the mini tweeters that came with the JBL 6X9 speakers.

A good labor saver

Jim from Illinois on 1/4/2015

2000 Toyota 4Runner

Verified customer (What's this?)
Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

Worked as advertised. Note: If this is being installed on a 2000 4-Runner with factory amp it is unnecessary to remove the factory stereo. One needs to remove only the factory amp, which is directly beneath the stereo, in order to plug this harness into the amp. The factory stereo does not need to be touched. This harness saves all that messy splicing, etc. A great time saver. Staff at Crutchfield was very helpful.

Pros: Well made. Saves on installation time.

Cons: None

This harness was great, my only complain had nothing to do with the harness and a lack of instructions to accompany the harness. I tied a Parrot 3100 into my Scion Xb and it works great.

Q
I own a 2013 Corolla. I would like to know if this wiring harness would disable the steering wheel radio controls and if the harness is compatible with my factory car radio?
[ Eduardo  Aug 03, 2016 ]
1 answer
A
The ability to retain steering wheel controls with aftermarket receivers will be determined by the receiver you are using and the vehicle you have. You will want to contact an Advisor by phone or online chat to discuss compatibility with your current system. They will be able to pull up your vehicle and see how it will integrate. If it does not, then they will also be able to discuss other options with you.
