About the Axxess GMOS-LAN-012 GM Wiring Interface
The Axxess GMOS-LAN-012 radio replacement interface lets you replace the factory radio in select 2006-up GM vehicles, and keep your factory-installed OnStar system, satellite radio tuner, and door chimes. Even if you don't subscribe to OnStar, you'll need this interface to connect an aftermarket stereo.
Connect the GMOS-LAN-012 to your aftermarket radio, mount the module, and plug it into the existing factory plug. Get the great sound you want, and keep all of the important safety features intact. You can adjust volume settings for OnStar as well as the safety chimes. This interface gives you convenient plug-in connections for the Axxess steering wheel control adapter (not included) that works with most aftermarket stereos – that means less wiring work for you.
This interface is compatible with select 2006-and up General Motors vehicles. If you haven't done so already, please enter your vehicle information or call an Advisor at 1-888-955-6000 to find out if this item is compatible with your vehicle. Warranty: 1 year.
Note: Your vehicle must have factory-installed steering wheel controls in order to control the GM satellite radio tuner after installation.

More details on the Axxess GMOS-LAN-012 GM Wiring Interface
Overview: The GMOS-LAN-012 is designed to retain OnStar, OEM Satellite Radio, and the warning chimes that are normally lost when a factory GMLAN29 radio is removed and provide a 12 volt accessory output for aftermarket radio operation. The GMOS-LAN-012 also provides a Mute, Parking Brake, VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor), and a Reverse output to make installing an aftermarket navigation radio simple and less time consuming.
GM Vehicle Compatibility: The GMOS-LAN-012 is compatible with the following 2006-up GM vehicles (as of 2/28/2012):
Note: Please consult Crutchfield's Outfit My Car to see if your vehicle is compatible and what additional accessories will be needed.
Backup Camera Harness: This harness is used when you are trying to retain the factory backup camera in your GM vehicle. The backup harness is fitted with a 16-pin GMLAN29 connector on one end and a male composite video RCA connector on the other end.
OEM Steering Wheel Control Compatible (optional): The GMOS-LAN-012 features a right-angle 3.5mm connector that lets you keep your GM vehicle's OEM steering wheel controls via the optional Axxess Steering Wheel Control Interface (120ASWC1, sold separately).
Note: The GM vehicle must have factory steering wheel controls to retain access to the factory customization menu, once the factory radio is replaced with an aftermarket head unit that also support steering wheel control.
