Fantastic Upgrade

Great all around. Highly recommended. Using in the rear deck of a 2015 Toyota Camry XLE w/ JBL. Ran new speaker wire to bypass the OEM Amp's crossovers. Powering directly from a Kenwood 8906s.

Upgrading my Tacoma Speakers

These sound great and installed fine with the included free speaker adapters (Metra 82-8146). I had to drill the 4th hole to use the speaker adapters, but it was all good other than that. I also sound deadened my doors when I installed these, so some of the sound improvement is owed to that.

Fits '97 Honda Accord Rear Deck

I installed these kickers on the rear deck of a '97 Honda Accord.. I went through 2 different sets of speakers (JBL and Infinity Reference) before finally settling on these kickers because the holes would not line-up to my rear-deck factory drilled holes.. The holes on these kicker speakers fit my '97 Honda Accord better than the JBL and Infinity Reference.. I am glad that my Crutchfield Advisor told me to try these kickers.. At first I was upset to not get the JBLs, but now that the kickers have been installed for a few months, it seems like they are breaking-in.. and the sound is AMAZING!! I LOVE these kicker speakers and would not trade them out for anything.. Thank You Crutchfield for the free exchanges and great advice.. I LOVE THESE KICKERS!!

2019 F150 stock upgrade

These speakers did exactly what I needed them to do, more mid range bass and more highs. These WILL NOT give you a bumping system like a sub would, for people who don't know what they're buying... But if you're simply looking for more midrange, these are for you. Solid upgrade from stock speakers on 2019 F150 STX. Plan on doing sub system sooner than later

KC rock pounds hard

I feel these 6X9s are the ones that fit my system the best without having to go to separates. The sound is full...high highs with low lows. No distortion running these with my 70 watt RMS per channel amp. Very happy with these speakers here in Kansas City, Missouri.

Reccomend for purchase in Crew Cab Truck

Got a pair of these for my 2018 silverado crew cab. Kept the factory head unit. Paired with a 4x70 rms kenwood amp (powers the back 2 kicker ksc 2 ways). Ran thicker gauge wires per suggestion from Crutchfield techs. Tunes the amp to the speakers. I play mostly rock and nu metal. Sounds excellent when adjusted properly to my ear. Loudness is very good at high levels. Had to tune down the bass to about a -2 on factory head unit due to popping. Even at that bass level it produces quality base and hits your body. On certain songs with high bass tones, you do have to adjust down. Its "near subwoofer" capability but theyre definitely not sub quality. I would recommend for purchase. Im very happy woth the speakers. I wasnf going for earth shattering. Just an improvement from factory system and these did the job great. The 2 way KSC kickers in the back do leave something to be desired and they limit the system.

Excellent value, good quality

I bought these to replace my factory speakers in my 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab without Bose. Crutchfield includes mounting spacers and wiring harnesses free. You could disassemble the factory speakers and use the frames. But, that would be a lot of work and may not work out if it was not done well. The stereo does sound better. A little more low end and a bit clearer. But, without adding an amp, it is not much louder. The factory speakers are surprisingly OK. About a 6 ounce magnet and rubber surrounds. It may not be worth changing these if you're not planning on adding an amp, especially if you don't listen to your music loud. The rear speakers are 6.5". I also changed those with the same line of Kicker speakers. These really didn't make any difference in sound volume or quality. Without an amp, changing the rear speakers is almost pointless. Don't take this as a bad review. Just that the factory speakers are well matched to the radio. The improvement from changing the speakers may not be as much as you are hoping.

Fit front and rear doors

Used these to replace the front and rear speakers in my 18 ram 2500. They are powered by a crossfire 800.4 amp and work perfectly. You need a 1/2" spacer from metra to get them to fit in the front doors

Not good at high volume

Just installed 4 of these on my Harley Davidson RoadGlide, and they did not perform well at high volumes. My technician tried multiple amps(400+) and even bridged them to see if the speakers would thump properly. They did not. My tech says he's never had a set of speakers under perform in such a manner and didn't expect it from Kicker. Only one article I read didn't have a good review on these 6x9's , and it spoke of the exact issue I'm having. Terrible at high volumes.

These KS series 6x9s are amazing! Sound quality is top notch, just sounds like Kicker quality! Installed in front doors in Silverado 2500 without a hitch. I purchased a soundstream 4 channel amp to push these and the new 6.75s in the rear doors, but honestly sounds great with the low power from my factory head unit! Top notch!

Great 6x9

Very impressed with these 6x9's installed in the cab corners of my 68 C10. It is a shame to block much of the sound with the seat, but that certainly isn't Kicker's fault and their 4.5's in the dash make up for it. They simply run clean and hard.

I wouldn't recommend these speakers as my factory speakers sounded way better in my 2018 Sierra! I'm pretty disappointed and took all but 1 speaker back out to reinstall my factory speakers because I haven't had the time yet. Just my opinion is all but I would go for a totally different brand.

Good sounding soeaker. I had to dial up more gain to these vs. My pioneers to get the same sound. So they are pretty stiff. Low bass sounded very good. Unfortunately the tweeter setup went dead on one of mine within 2 weeks of installing. Crutchfield customer service is awesome though and got me back on my way.

BIG improvement over stock

BIG improvement over stock. So clear and great range. I did add an amp from the factory head unit to push these a little harder, but even without that they would be head and shoulders above factory. Also, with the Crutchfield install items, they fit like a glove.

If you're on three fence about these speakers, do it. For the price and ease of installation, it's definitely worth it! There is a noticeable sounds difference from the stock speakers I replaced in my 2016 GMC Sierra SLE worth Bose system.

I bought these for a previous vehicle and bought them AGAIN! Kicker speakers never dissapoint. I used the Crutchfield speaker comparison just to be sure, and these 44KSC's sounded better than the others, even though the competitors price was higher. These speakers are excellent! I had a little trouble getting them to fit in the front doors of my Dodge Dart because they're too thick, but that's nothing a cutting wheel couldn't fix. I got the whole setup along with the 3 1/2" versions of these for the dash. The volume increase is definitely noticeable, but the overall experience is also there. Everything sounds a lot cleaner at all volumes really, and the stock speakers weren't exactly the worst I've ever had either.

These speakers were worth the money as back rear speakers for my minivan. They are rated at 150 watts rms and 300 watts peak and the highs and midrange are crystal clear and bass has some thump. The source is from a Sony MEX-N5200BT head with 55 watts of power. These are the perfect marriage of speaker and cd receiver.

The speaker is great for my four door sedan. Had to do some modification to get it to fit, but not too much. Sounds really crisp, and excellent lows and mids. The highs can bee a little better, but not a deal breaker. Really an upgrade to my stocks, and works well with my new headunit. Overall very happy with these speakers. Can't wait to hear them paired with an amp and sub box.

Great, crisp, mids and highs. Base is pretty powerful but will breakup at high volumes. Speakers came with a set of adapters for installation. All products should have a statement that says it fits with modification. Had to go to a competitor to buy the Kicker sub system I wanted, wasn't carried by Crutchfield. Also had to go to another place to get the speaker interconnects so I wouldn't have to cut and splice wiring.

I was having issues with my system and thought it could be the speakers. So I purchased these as a lower cost replacement. Turns out it wasn't the speakers with the issues but these sound great. I used these as replacements for JL-Audio C5-650s. Those cost 4x as much and these sound just as good! Great product!!

Installed these in 2013 ram 1500 w/o alpine front and rear and they sound great! After much research I pulled the trigger and am very pleased. Sound is much louder and clearer. So much in fact that I reduced treble and faded to rear more. I can increase volume with no distortion beyond what I was listening at before. Just do it already!

Fantastic speakers!

Im extremely happy with these. I purchased these speakers about 6 months ago now. I'm running them off my Jeep Grand Cherokee factory head unit. But have them powered by Alpine KTP-445U amp. The clarity is outstanding and the bass is enough to rattle my Jeep. So much in fact, I used Dynomat in the doors of my Jeep were these speakers are mounted. That stopped the rattles and also improved the bass response even more. With just 45 watts going to these speakers, I can crank the volume with no distortion. I'm very happy how my system turned out. I recommended these for anyone who listens to all types of music.

Barely fit my 2017 Toyota Corolla's rear deck.

Very happy I upgraded, sound clarity is much better then OEM stock speakers! Less bass then I was expecting, not sure if it's the speaker or something else, and the added clarity more then makes up for that! Barely fit my 2017 Toyota Corolla (speaker was almost to small for the opening). I had to drill new wholes to screw the speaker into the rear deck, and the new wholes were incredibly close to the speaker opening (not speakers fault, just an fyi). I'd recommend recommend these speakers, but just barely (really thought I'd get more bass, but they are SO MUCH CLEARER then my oem stock).
