About the Morel Elate Carbon MM3
An essential component
Don't underestimate this little speaker. Morel's Elate Carbon MM3 3-1/2" midrange driver does a whole lot of heavy lifting, providing accurate response in the all-important range of 90 to 6,000 Hz. The MM3's triple-layered carbon-fiber/Rohacell cone minimizes distortion for the most accurate sound possible. Use it as part of a 3-way component system, and add a subwoofer for serious bass reinforcement. Just be sure you power it with an outboard amplifier to make the most of Morel's superior speaker technology.

Woofer Cone: Morel describes the MM3 as having a Triple Layer Cone design; two exterior carbon fiber layers sandwiching a layer of Rohacell (a high strength, lightweight foam).
Size Classification: Although Morel calls the MM3 a 3½" speaker, the basket doesn't have a typical 3½" shape or mounting screw pattern. It might fit many 3½" applications, but it's likely new screw holes will have to be drilled.
