These crossovers ensure that the speakers in your system receive the right frequencies for premium performance. And Morel builds in two levels of tweeter attenuation to control the brightness in your vehicle. Plus, if you have plans to bi-amp or bi-wire your components, Morel lets you do that too.

Overview: The MXT280C passive crossover is designed for use with the Morel 2-way Elate Carbon and Elate Carbon Pro component speakers sets, all sold separately. (Elate Carbon 52, Elate Carbon 62, Elate Carbon Pro 52, and Elate Carbon Pro 62) The crossovers are sold as a pair to cover the left and right channels.
Terminals: Each crossover's inputs and outputs are set screw terminals; they will accept bare wire up to 10-gauge wire and are tightened/loosened with a 2mm Allen wrench (not included).
Tweeter Output Level: A jumper inside each crossover allows you to adjust the tweeter output level; choose -2 dB, 0 dB, or +2 dB.Crossover Point/Slope: For both high-pass and low-pass, the crossover point is 2.5 kHz and the slope is 12 dB/octave.
Bi-Amp: Each crossover has bi-amp inputs, one input for the tweeter and one for the woofer. When bi-amping the speakers, the input jumper wires need to be removed. Using four amplifier channels to bi-amp the speakers typically improves the dynamic range and presents an easier load for the amp(s) to drive.
