Updated wireless phone charging for your GM vehicle

Problem: the factory charger in your 2013-up General Motors vehicle isn't compatible with iPhone 8® and iPhone X®. Brandmotion's FDMC-1285 wireless charger kit fits right under the factory charger pad in select GM models, updating your vehicle's wireless charger without modifications to the vehicle. You'll be able to charge your Qi-compatible smartphone without searching for that hard-to-find charging cable while you're driving.

How it works

Once you've installed the charger module in your vehicle, simply place your smartphone on the factory charging mat, and you're good to go. The inductive charging system powers up your phone's battery. And once the battery is topped off, the charger will trickle power to the phone as needed. If you don't have a phone that's Qi-compatible, you can select one of Brandmotion's Qi adhesive coils or Qi-compatible phone sleeves, which work with this charger.

Since you're simply replacing the charging module, you'll be able to retain the factory charging mat. You'll remove a couple panels, screw in the new module, and plug it into the factory harness.
