Weak and nonfunctional

This thing is weak, weak, weak! If there is so much as a thought between it and your phone, it won't charge! It is advertised as being a unit that can be mounted underneath existing trays or materials in your vehicle. I can tell you for a fact it will not charge an iPhone 12 or 13 unless the phone is literally sitting on the exposed charging coils. It will not charge through a dash or console tray, it will not charge through the supplied plastic sheet - it is simply too weak to pass through any known material. Horrible product that is non-returnable once you've attempted to install. Don't waste your time or money on this garbage.

No more dangling wires!!

Installed in the console of a 2006 Silverado. Very pleased with the charger and installation went quite well. I placed the charger beneath the tray area of the console, right at the front edge of the tray area (to serve as a front guide for the phone), trimmed the locating nubs off the bottom of the non-skid mat and trimmed the mat to lay directly over the tray bottom. No drilling into the console tray! I wired my unit to a full-time power source, with a dash panel switch It only draws 2 to 3 milliamps when not charging (just enough to run the LED power indicator), so I prefer to have it on all the time, and not have to turn on the truck just to charge my phone up. (charging only takes 30-40 milliamps, so there's no danger of significantly drawing down my battery). I have the switch wired in just so I can shut it down if the truck ever has to sit for a long period of time or if I'm having battery issues. I only wish I had installed this years ago!! As a side note, the unit came missing the wiring harness, but a phone call to Crutchfield Customer Service got me a harness is just a couple of days. Kudos to the awesome CCS team!

Bronco now has wireless charger without the factory $

Easy install in the factory location of my Bronco. Removed the dummy plate where the factory wireless charger would be, and it fit perfect and works great. Didn't use the rubber piece that came with kit. The factory rubber piece in the tray laid perfect over the plastic that came with kit. Very pleased and charges my iphone fast!

Relatively easy to install, the template for my truck was a little big so I just trimmed it down to fit. Works great.

Great wireless charger

Works great. Very easy install in 2017 Ram 1500. The template I downloaded was a little too big but I just trimmed off a little at a time until it fit.
