Just don't like the mounting option

Mounting is problematic, because once it is mounted it can not be easily relocated , if at all "3M VHB". I was a little pricy, but to unit is packed with great stuff; wifi. low energy parking recording, night vision, time lapse recording, encroachment safety warning,1080P,Sony lenses, 140 degree wide angle,Mobil application for my phone, Micro SD memory card to up load to my computer as well, upgradeable fimware, accident impact sensor, user guide and much more installed on SD card.
Pros: had everything else that I can think of after looking into dash cams for quit a while. Also Crutchfield's completely awesome and knowledgeable customer service.
Cons: single use mounting system

Replacement for one damaged by heat of summer

Thus is a replacement for one that quit working after about 4 years. I expect it was the heat in the summer. It gets 110 outside so in the car!
