Features

Overview: The Hertz Sub Volume Remote Control (HRC) allows you to control the output volume of your subwoofer amplifier from the driver's seat. The module mounts under the dash, or on your console, and features a rotary control knob for dialing in the right amount of bass for your music. Connections: The 19.5' cable has an RJ-14 modular phone plug on the controller end. The other end is two bare wires. The Hertz amplifiers have removable Euroblock connectors with screw connections for the bare wires.

[ Ryan  May 02, 2020 ]

Hi Ryan. You will need to contact the manufacturer if you are needing to obtain parts for this remote. You may find contact info at their website: https://www.hertzaudiovideo.com/

Q
I need to know if this lnob will work with the Hertz 3001 mobo amplifier?
[ Patrick  Dec 13, 2019 ]
1 answer
A
You didn't specify which series amp it is that you have, but if your amp has a 2 wire hookup for the remote lead instead of a plug, it should work.
[ Ryan  Dec 13, 2019 ]
Q
Will one bass knob control 2 amps if they are strapped?
[ Matthew  Sep 12, 2019 ]
1 answer
A
Hi Matthew, thank you for your question. You would need to use 2 of the Hertz HRC remotes in order to control 2 amps. The RCA outputs on the Hertz amp's that allow you to connect a second amp, are only allowing signal pass-through. That connection will not allow for full control of both amplifiers, by using one remote. To go over your current setup, and find the gear that would work the best for you, feel free to chat with an Advisor online or by phone at 1-800-324-9695. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Q
Can I achieve the same results using a rheostat?
[ Sidney  Apr 26, 2019 ]
1 answer
A
Unfortunately, I have not used a rheostat for this purpose, but the HRC is perfectly engineered to work with the Hertz amplifier and was a very simple installation. Hardest part was finding an accessible yet stealth location.
