I've been on a search of late to find the right combination of components in my listening room. A couple pieces remained constant (preamplifier and digital streamer), but I've been on the hunt for the right amp and speakers. After some trial and error I decided to try the A21+. It's big and heavy, and if that's a drawback just be forewarned. Out of the boxes (all three of them) the A21+ feels substantial. Not heavy just for the sake of being heavy. Quality. I hooked this up to my preamp using RCA cables, speaker cables with locking banana plugs to my speakers (Klipsch Heresy IV). I let this setup run for about a day, playing internet radio at a moderate volume, before doing a real audition. Some might ask why so much power for the Heresy IV, and my answer is the amp has such tight control of the Heresy's bass driver that this aspect has never sounded better. There is detail and articulation that was missing from other choices. Excellent midrange and highs that are far less shouty than other amps have been with these compression drivers. I've fussed with the amp input gain settings to get the best sound match to my preamp (which has a fairly high output level). And after a week of listening I used the amp's RCA outputs to connect a sub, set for 45hz and below, just to round out the lowest of the bottom octave. Bottom line: a great purchase and a superb value.
Pros: Huge amounts of clean, uncolored power. Solid construction using quality components.

Bought this amp to power my new speakers. Running them off my 130w per channel receiver didn't cut it . This amp brought them to life at both Low and high volumes. Now I'm looking for matching pre amp out of stock everywhere
Pros: Good clean sound at all volumes
Cons: A little big and heavy. Needs room to breath

The A 21 + opened up my GoldenEar Triton 2+. The amp enriched the mids and the high end is now incredible. The first thing I noticed was how isolating the sound is now. It gives a real feel to the music. The A21 + is a definitely welcome upgrade for me.
Pros: Opened up the mids and high end. Really isolates the music.
Cons: Shows all the flaws in poor recorded material (Vinyl and CD) or streaming. Can show the waste of money spent on inferior recordings.

This is my intro to a true 2-channel setup and I'm impressed. Lots of power available. Easily drives my Monitor Audio Silver 300s. Pair this with the P6 and you can experience movies as well. My movies finally come alive with this thing. Music is so much better with the A21+ and the P6.
